I recently had a debate with a friend about who had the biggest influence in WW2. Personally I think the Russians did based on the fact that they sacrificed the most and also killed the most Germans. The Russians killed more Germans than all other Allied countries combined. And the Battle of Stalingrad is widely considered to be the turning point of the war. My friend, however, disagrees. He thinks if it wasn’t for America, we would’ve lost the war. I think this is the result of our education system that teaches kids we single handedly saved the world from Germans. What’s your guys’ opinion?
