6 RespuestasRather than read about what others think about the memo, read it for yourself and formulate your own thoughts about it. Here is the full memo: Source 1 - https://drive.google.com/viewerng/viewer?url=https://assets.documentcloud.org/documents/3914586/Googles-Ideological-Echo-Chamber.pdf Source 2 - https://www.pdf-archive.com/2017/08/09/googles-ideological-echo-chamber/ Again, I sincerely wish for all of you to read the memo in full if you have not already done so. Going by the word of CNN, MSNBC, BBC, CNBC, Fox News, Huffington Post, Breitbart, etc is not enough to formulate your own independent thoughts on the memo.

You mean goolag?

4 RespuestasIf google set out to prove his entire thesis correct, they have succeeded admirably.
Google: Women improve workplaces because they are different from men. Memo Guy: Women are different, on average, from men. Google: Fired.
-
There's been a few threads actually. Maybe mods deleted them since Bungie is about as open to diversity as Google is. Not at all.

I was under the impression we wanted to give businesses freedom to run their business how they want.

> 10 page Email I don't give a -blam!- what it's about. It's a 10 page Email: the man is a nutcase.
-
4 RespuestasNo it hasn't been quiet about Google. All the conservative posters have been railing about Google for days.
-
Glad he was fired. Doesn't matter if he was right or wrong it's bad for google either way. The people who are bashing google for firing this guy are worse than the media outlets who misrepresented the memo in the first place.
-
10 RespuestasDamore was right in the memo and he shouldn't have been fired for stating the truth.
-
7 RespuestasThe guy said stupid pseudoscience, he then got fired. Harsh? Maybe. Relevant to anything? No.
-
8 RespuestasI think it's understandable Google fired him.
-
-blam!- it. Google's banner image today was sick though.
-
8 RespuestasGood on Google for firing him.
-
1 RespuestaI made a post on this earlier in the week. The consensus was that he should have been fired for breeching the company's code of conduct. Many who commented said he raised good points, but he went about it the wrong way.
-
I haven't been paying attention to the news recently. What's this all about?
-
You know, I can actually agree with you on this. I may have not agreed with every statement but I still hate that he was fired.
-
2 RespuestasWhilst I dont agree with what he said, I dont think he should have been sacked.

7 RespuestasI feel like either way if Google fired him or they didn't, they would still get shit for this. Google was put in a very difficult position due to the outrage that the letter made on social media, thus google had to fire him to calm down people.
-
They were within their rights to fire him regardless of a difference in opinion.
-
2 RespuestasHe disrupted workflow and did this instead of his job. I'm not going to pretend I know the full details, but he definitely deserved to be reprimanded, and depending on the severity, terminated.

1 RespuestaI'm just as surprised, seems like something offtopic would be into I read an article that Julian Assange linked about it
