I was using Mario as an example, I'm
Not saying they were bad games either, goldeneye was my childhood. I'm just saying because of the time period they were made in and the associated hardware limitations, video games of that time period tended not to have as much depth as video games have today

Are you going to look back at Destiny in 10 years and think the same as you do about Mario today?
-
No, because I personally don't find enjoyment in Mario, goldeneye on the other hand yes I do, my dad still has our old n64 and goldeneye, and whenever I visit him we play it, so yes I would look back at destiny, just like I still play the first halo, and just like I still play battlefield 2 after all these years, if it's fun there is no time limit, but as a general rule you spend more time on a sci-fi open world mmorpg shooter than you would on a 2d puzzle game where you collect coins and crush turtles

General rule? That's a general opinion, not a rule.. We all have different likes and dislikes. The general rule is: Different strokes for different folks. 👍

You can't possibly say that goldeneye or Mario have more depth than destiny...

Editado por TheTommieC: 8/9/2017 12:53:46 PMWhen they came out, they were prime. Just like 10 years from now, Destiny will look like child's play. Time is relative. Playing those games as a kid vs playing them now..

Yes in 10 years video games will have more depth than now, but just like people still enjoy Mario so much, in 10 years I'll still Enjoy destiny, it's not about how old it is or how much it costs, it's about how much you like it, the point I'm making here is you said nowadays video games aren't worth what you pay for them, the amount of work and money it takes to make a modern day mmo is in no way even remotely comparable to the kind of money it takes to Make n64 goldeneye... And you can see that by looking at how both of them play, of course goldeneye was cheaper to buy and it was easy for you to get the full game with one price, goldeneye isn't an mmo

Like I said, technology is a beautiful thing. When is PlayStation 5 coming out?
-
Look at any regular, original Playstation game. They were the cream of the crop back then. Nothing looked better. Go back to them now, and you'll get a good chuckle out of them and ask yourself, "How did I play that game?! Technology is a beautiful thing.
