Long story short I met this dude on Instagram a couple days back, and he is dead set on commiting suicide. I have no idea what to do but I don't want to be too late. Does anybody have any suggestions, please.
Edit: Thank you, sincerely, to everyone that replied. I'll go more into depth about the situation.
So a meme page called salad.snake, made a separate account called donaldgloverfan53. It was made as satire and poked fun at fan accounts of other people. Salad snake has several hundred thousand followers, so plent of them, including me, jumped on the fan53 bandwagon. This was about three weeks ago, and it's slowly been dying down. I found out two days ago, that charliecoxfan53 was going through severe depression at the time, and many of the other fan53 accounts gave kind words to him. It was yesterday that he began saying that he would finally be at peace once he ended his life. I spent about a half an hour talking to him, but he didn't grudge on his stance. Since he is a fan53 account, there's no personal information there. I don't know anything about him, but recently tupacfan53 and another user found his school. I'm currently awaiting further details but they're trying to find out who he is. Thank you, everybody who is helping.

2 RespuestasSuggest he find help. Either go to the Emergency Department of the nearest hospital....or contact a suicide prevention hotline. NEVER dismiss someone who is threatening to harm themselves.
-
1 RespuestaStop with your big government interference. Free country he can do what he wants.
-
Try and get some personal information; what state or country he's from, maybe find out his number, anything. Suicide hotline can't help if he's out of your country, and I don't know if you can call law enforcement for other countries to let them know what's up, but.... just, try and be there for the person

I'm just dying to know if this guy is okay. (But seriously call a suicide hotline, even if you're not the one in trouble they'll still try to help)

Tell him that comedy is just tragedy remembered and that instead of killing himself he should just become a comedian

1 RespuestaEditado por rhtbaxter666: 8/9/2017 7:52:41 AMCall the suicide hotline. I'm telling you, it's better to do it now. You'll regret knowing he has suicidal thoughts and you did nothing.

Is it Kaiba? He usually does that when I duel him and he's about to lose, cuz
im the King of games, BÏ/t\¢h
Have you sent him the life is precious thing? That saves lives

Be there for them. Rationalize with them. Just keep him alive. Of it's too much call a expert and him help your friend
-
Let them. Simple enough as that. There is nothing you can do for someone who is truly set on doing it. Nice words, revelations, "support" mean nothing if they are not attention seeking. I've tried with people in the past and unless you give them everything in the world they will not listen. If they are just attention seeking and vain then they will not go through with it, but they will constantly hunger for praise and validation of self afterward. And all the time, effort and worry on your part will only wear on you more when they go through with it and ignore anything you say or do. Only a miracle can save those people.

Tell him to call a hospital.

Most death threats are fake. Don't bother with him as you are neither qualify for it nor will he actually do it. Just ignore him as his goal is attention.
