Am I the only person who hates teamwork?
I honestly don't understand how anybody gets any joy from running around holding hands with all of their teammates and teamshooting.
It's like going bowling, and having 6 people bowl at the same set of pins and then pretending you are good for bowling 300 as a team....
What irks me is that D2 is
70% teamshot, 29% spawn luck and 1% skill...
Why is individual skill so seemingly worthless.. :/

In D2 I never had to teamshot (or notice me shooting with others) I was on my own flanking the team with fire bolt grenades, The skill is to play smarter & be more conservative of your grenades along with your super. The apparent "Meta" will be Pulses & handcannons (Auto rifles are bad stop saying "These guns are amazing" ( I am not talking about sub-machine guns, Auto rifles.) I hate playing with others so I typically play rumble or 3v3 at the least (Only exception is(was) iron banner for the lingering song) In order to wrap this essay up, We do need rumble, but for us players who do not enjoy teamshotting we just go our own paths. (edit is this WHY I LOST 90% OF MY CONTROL MATCHES DURING IRON BANNER BECAUSE PEOPLE HATE TEAMWORK??????)

Most good jobs require teamwork, If you like being he man or she ra , all the time that cool. Yet teamwork were your skills will most of the time show up even being the lone wolf. Example if takes 2 hrs for you to move a couch solo, or 6 people move it in 6 minutes as a team . And one person he mans it or she ra its, for few minutes, then rest move it .or we wait for that persons.

Im with you a 100%. The move to try and focus on team cooperation is plain stupid. People dont want to always assimilate with the herd, they want to experience the game individually and prove their own skills. It was always gratifying knowing that i was able to hold my own in D1. Now that bungie has nerfed abilities and grenades etc... the restrictions prevent players to play at their full individual capacity. This is a step backwards. Bungie needs to realize that this does not positively influence game play as it holds constraints over individuals being able to perform. We are less capable of putting the direction of the game in our own hands when we have to rely on others to teamshoot our opponents. I am not saying that i need people to assist me, but the nerf to other weapons and abilities weakens all of us individually.

Pushing you, stealing kills last shot, trying to defend a terrible player with team shooting will be the worst chore... going against a probable sweaty 4 does not sound pleasant at all, while in D1 you could at least hold yourself up and win some 2v1 encounters and enjoy rumble. I am one of those solo players that enjoy the challenge matching teams, but it's near impossible in D2.

We move in a pack of 3 players, I think they got my back. I die, move the camera around, seems they ran away. Or they wait until I die and only then start shooting. Or we are 4 people, enemy player pops his roaming super 20 meters away, and they all run and hide. I literally watch how they run away and hide. I'm like what the -blam!-, we are 4 people and have enough time to react, -blam!-ING FOCUS FIRE!!! I travel in a group only sometimes, most of the time I try to avoid that. Because groups are easier to notice and are very appealing to nova bombs and fists of panic. You may get my teammates who were all standing in one spot, but I won't be one of the victims (like when we are capturing a zone, I like to keep a little distance to the zone. When a nova bomb or fist of panic hits them, I'm still alive and can kill the Striker/Voidwalker, and possibly save the zone.) Also, very important, teammates pushing me annoys me.

Don't mind it I am hoping that there are some bigger maps so you can have a few more 1 on 1 battles

Well if you care so much about skill, it's like 50% skill 50% teamwork now. It takes much more skill to win a 1v2 and 1v3 compared to D1.

I love that people are still complaining about team shooting. Just because you can't run in and get instakills doesn't mean if you're any good, you can't still fight 1v2 or 1v3 and win. It takes being a lot better, but possible.

I only use team work with friends. Other than that im not gonna waste my time on 5 useless team mates who can't hold their own in a fight.

1 RespuestaI find it funny that anytime someone has a complaint, they say what it is, and claim it requires no skill. Which sounds like there isn't anything in the game past, present, or future that needs any skill to master. It's a wonder anyone ever dies in this game.
