He raised his lance to throw, ready to kill whatever this was should it prove hostile.

The figure suddenly fell down to one knee, obviously injured by the looks of it. He even heard the grunt of a young girl in pain.
-
He immediately lowered the lance, moving towards her. "Hello? Are you alright?"
-
"Who's there?! AGH!" She cried out in pain standing back up and turning to face the man through the wind, her looks still covered by the wind and mist.
-
His footsteps moved to her, stepping up to her. "My name's Markus. You look like you could use some help."
-
He stood right outside the gusting winds and mist that blocked his view as the girl yelled back. "J-Just stay back!...Where the hell am I? Was I teleported to the middle of f*cking nowhere...?"
-
"You're hurt. Let me help you, then I'll answer any questions you may have." He promised.
-
"N-No, I'm fine. This weird...thing will heal me. What the f*ck should I call it? Circle of healing air? Kind of a stupid name, am I right?" She chuckled weakly, but stopped due to the pain from laughing.
-
"A medical field?" He asked, smiling beneath his mask.
-
"Sure? Why not?" The "field" suddenly vanished and before him stood a teenage girl. She wore dirty skinny jeans, once white sneakers, a black top that showed off her midriff, and finger-less gloves. Her one wing had a large burn and the other a gash, but the rest of her seemed to have healed.
-
He looked her over, reaching up and pulling back hos mask now that the dust was gone. He didn't look much older than her, maybe nineteen. "That was impressive. What's your name, young one?"
-
"Impressive? Yes." She stood up a bit with an arrogant smirk and placed her hands on her hips in a triumphant manner. "I don't like being called young one though....The name's V."
-
"I'm Markus. Pleasure to meet you." He offered his hand.
-
Victoria slapped it like a high five. "Yeah, you already told me your name. So, where am I? And what's up with the comic con costume?"
-
He lowered his hand. "Welcome to Tatakai, where all your so called 'comic cons' are more or less reality.
-
"Hmm. Telling from the past three days of my life, I'm honestly not surprised I landed myself in some fantasy world." She looked around at the scenery. "Weird..."
-
"It'll get better. There's a lot of oddities here. Demons, wizards, space monsters, etcetera." He told her.
-
"I just got done fighting some demons. I think I'm fine without running into more." She rolled her eyes. "They burned my wing damnit. It was on f*cking fire. It hurt!"
-
A mild look of concern crossed his face. "Do you require medical attention? I have some equipment that would help."
-
"I'll be fine after some rest. I heal fast. Thank you for the offer though." She grinned at the man. "So, what brought you out here?"
-
"Middle of no where. Quiet place to think." Mark shrugged.
-
"Okay...weird. That's not how I'd spend my Friday, but that's just me." She began to walk off. "Now, let's find some food."
-
"I have some bread and water on me." He offered, gesturing to a bag that was strapped to his back.
-
"Please give me some!" She turned to him with a hopeful and pleading look with a hint of desperation.
-
He opened the bag and offered her a loaf of bread along with a full canteen.
-
The girl wolfed down the bread and jugged the water down in seconds before sighing with a smile. "Thanks, man. Needed that."
