Eververse payed for SRL, Festival of the Lost, Crimson Days, and the Dawning. Not free DLC, but it did give us free content.

DLC is an umbrella acronym that stands for Downloadable Content. ALL things added to the game after its launch have to be downloaded through patches the same way all digital expansions are. Those events are DLC.

You had to buy the game to get that content too, and before that you had to buy the system. How far back do we want to take this reductio ad absurdum argument? To having to pay for Internet service and electric bills? Maybe even rent or mortgage payments?

And both SRL and Halloween returned in y3 and you still had to buy ROI the reductio ad absurdum argument doesn't apply here. if it was free, you would just need the base game (screw it, just the demo) to access SRL/Halloween/Crimson Doubles
