Can someone actually post a real number so this argument can be concluded.
I personally don't believe it's an accurate statement but will acknowledge it if hard data is being presented.
I don't really believe the hype from any company until I see it in my stock returns. .

Their price has gone up $23/share from the beginning of the year... just saying

Remember Activision owns CoD too. CoD ww2? Do you honestly think destiny is the driving force?
Remember Activision owns CoD too. CoD ww2? Do you honestly think destiny is the driving force?
I'm not insinuating that it is all due to D2, however it is a large IP. If it was not fairing well it would impact the company's value in a significant way.

That cant be because of Destiny.

People cant provide the numbers because it looks like its the old switcheroo. I.e. numbers prior to the beta instead of numbers excluding cancellations that occured after the beta went live. So this is one of those smoke and mirror claims to calm shareholders. D2 is looking a lot like a repeat of no mans sky. Remember the preorders for that lol. Oh well....i keep laughing while typing these replies because i cancelled my preorder a while ago. Its really odd looking in from the outside and seeing even people like broman calling certain areas of the community blind fanboys

Well I estimate they have already made 300 mil off pre orders a few months before the game is even coming out. Don't compare the shit that was nms to bungie
-
NMS was actually a decent indi game until Sony forced the release at an inflated price. Alot of missing features have since been added back into the game and its still being improved with free updates. Impressive achievement for such a small team. Bungie were a great developer back in the day, now? thats debatable. Vanilla Destiny was overhyped and overpriced at release, I don't see any issue drawing a parallel to nms. Bungie just delivered far less with a hell of a lot more manpower and money.
-
I mostly blame Activision for that. But I still see they care about the game and aren't just in it for the money. Nms is not the same sense we got exactly what bungie showed and said they would. Unlike nms which is notorious for lying

They can't since Activision hasn't released any numbers yet
