I played D1 today and..
I havent played D1 in a good while but decided to give the last IB a run. About 4 minutes in the game, it got boring and i couldn't do it anymore. I was actually getting tired of being instantly killed with a sniper accross the map. I had complained about special being nerfed to heavy but when i think about snipers in D1... i take back my complaint. Shotties i can deal with but snipers are just annoying. I look foward to playing D2 and i look foward to seeing elimination and Skirmish modes... and as always, i look foward to seeing invis for my hunter come back!

You're probably gonna be playing a little under your matchmaking bracket until you adjust back to where you should be. If you're on X1 I can help you with crucible. Edit: I see you are on PS4, should have checked before posting. If you'd like me to review your gameplay for tips/breaking bad habits, I'd be happy to. Crucible playbook on Reddit is a great source as well.

I'm not great with a sniper in PVP and actually think it's a skill. I'm terrible at PVP and always respect someone who can kill me from across the map. It sucks but I'm like "damnit. That dude had an icebreaker"

I don't have a problem with snipers, I only take issue with the extreme reliance on abilities. I was done with d1 crucible ages ago, thoroughly enjoyed the d2 beta though.

1 RespuestaPlaying D1 kind of hurts.. I get annoyed with it so quickly anymore.. The beta for D2 kind of ruined D1 for me. I cant wait for D2 to come out. The competitive game modes look interesting, there has been some videos and talk about a survival game mode, which is a mix of skirmish and elimination. I cant wait to try that. I got into Destiny more for the PvE though, so all the talk of how there is more story has me curious and wanting to see.

It's those stupid double sticky nade spammers that get me. I'm stupidly using my primary weapon to kill them and they just toss that sticky nade and run behind cover with a sliver of health while I use the sorrow emote and accept my death. I hate being killed by stickies so much that I will waste my super just to survive them.

16 RespuestasLol you asked for trouble. This community is like 75 percent snipers. Like talk about fanboys. The sniper fanboys were real in d1. Every time anything happened to snipers, it was, wtf bungie, snipers aren't op they take skill. Every time something happened to shotguns it was, good they are no skill crutches lol. The weapons system change, I have a strong suspicion it was due to snipers damage in pve, and sniper popularity and game altering consequences in PvP. I'm so happy. I actually love sniping in every game outside of destiny. It's super easy in pve. It's pretty easy in PvP if you keep practicing. It controlled every aspect of the game. What a surprise, the community loved the only gun that could 1hk from any distance, and chalked it up to skill. Like the kids in cod who used that 1hk hand cannon. I actually enjoyed sniping in d2 beta more because the entire team wasn't using them.

Snipers weren't an issue for me at all, I had no problem outshooting a sniper as long as I saw them in time. Keep your head on a swivel and you can't miss that bright red glare aiming at you. Use a scout or pulse and land your headshots and they go down fast. I've actually been seeing a lot of primary use. Especially auto rifles surprisingly. Pulse rifles and handcannons are everywhere, and a few scouts too. People spamming grenades and panic supers as usual are more annoying. Otherwise I've been wrecking with my hopscotch.
