So as the title states being less powerful than D1, while fitting nicely into balance and the story arc, is a good thing in my opinion.
Aren't you all bored of doing a raid knowing you won't die cause your level 50 billion and the boss needs to shoot you 20 times before you even think "oh my shields are low". Back when vault launched and we were barely level 26 and 25 in some cases we struggled and fought for that completion. It took hours for my first run as we slowly chipped away at the Templar and Atheon, going through god knows how many cycles but the main thing was IT WAS FUN. It was enjoyable kicking his ass after that time and the sense of achievement every year 1 guardian knows was overwhelming. I see comments that the beta strike boss was a bullet sponge and yes an argument could be made for that but is it his health or the fact that you can't simply pop a synth and fire rockets that make the fight longer? Destinys biggest issue was that it's bosses were to easy in hard modes! You can one cycle Atheon for gods sake A RAID BOSS the hardest enemy ( or one of) in the game! END GAME CONTENT can be done in 30 mins.
Remember when you were all level 3 for example? When you walked into a cave or down a hole on earth or the moon or any area and you saw that ??? Level enemy! Knowing they were to high for you as you ran away with a captain chasing you! They were some of the best moments in my destiny time and now because I'm level 40 400 light with great weapons and tier 11 etc. That feeling that somewhere there is something I can't do, some enemy that no matter how hard I try will always best me!
If u disagree feel free to leave a reasoned argument in the comments as unlike most on forms I can be persuaded and will listen to valid points!

1 RespuestaI agree with the concept that being underpowered compared to the enemy will often allow victories to carry an additional sense of accomplishment due to the sheer odds against the player. On the other hand, there always needs to be room for the player to have a palpable increase in strength as they progress.

1 RespuestaSo funny how you fanboys are defending this shitshow. Muted.

Don't worry the raids will be more of the same, just more mundane and finding as many cheeses to get past the shit. Downgrading and streamlining has done nothing but diminish "Become Legend", but hey at least PvP is finally balanced and nerfs shouldn't be a thing. Oh wait people are still calling for them, it's funny how something that's supposed to be training is dictating the game. They should've separated PvE and PvP day 1, not after the fact.

Nah. It's not as fun for PvP to be reduced to teamshot fests with slow cooldowns, imo.

Lost me at the title. Have a dislike for your trouble.

Being weaker isint the same as watering the game down
