I think it's doing very well, even with the Wii U rereleases. I'm definitely able to invest more time into the games now that they're portable, and due to the fact that the Switch operates much faster than the Wii U.
We have Breath of the Wild, which is always fun to play. Mario Kart 8 is fun, and so is Splatoon 2. But right now I have more indie games than I do full blown titles. Not to say that Shantae is a bad game.
There's Super Mario Odyssey, Pokkén DX, and Xenoblade 2. But also indies, like Stardew Valley, Farming Simulator, and The Escapists. Plus there are other normal titles with late releases, like Steep, Skyrim, Payday 2, Resident Evil Relations, and more.
I hear people say that it has no games, but I think the opposite. It's very good this early on, but it still needs some work, which can hopefully be fixed by Summer of 18.
Let's not forget Pokémon, Kirby, Metroid, Arms, and Yoshi.

Zelda is pretty much all I wanted for it so it's good enough for me.

Resident evil revelations and revelations 2 are coming to Switch
-
I'm waiting for little bit to see games like Super Mario Odyssey and Smash 5.
-
I currently recommend: -Breath of the Wild -Splatoon 2 -Mariokart 8 Deluxe -Shovel Knight -Binding of Isaac

7 RespuestasSwitch library is awful. The only good game is breath of the wild. Why, you ask? Simple. Switch has inferior hardware and no one will waste money making good games for it. Skyrim? Nope. Fallout? Still no. Warframe? Uh-uh. Destiny? Not that either. Neither does it have games like Titanfall, Battlefield, Witcher, Mass Effect, Far Cry, Overwatch (While I personally abhore it, it does receive high ratings), or even $&@#ing Minecraft! And the list goes on. And for those of you wondering, yes, I'm a proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race.

Great games you can't currently buy that I've played: Zelda BoTW Mario Kart i deluxe Disgaea 5 Arms Splatoon 2 Binding of Isaac That's already more games I've played or plan to own than on either Xbone or PS4 during my first year with them.
-
7 RespuestasIt still only has BotW.
-
5 RespuestasOnly has one game

Editado por Vgnut: 8/5/2017 1:17:12 AMThere's more than enough there to justify $299... unless you have a Wii U

I'd say it's solid, but that's counting game that WILL BE coming out, not games that ARE out, like Pokken Tournament, Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Metroid Prime 4, and several other pretty major games. And not to mention there's plenty of indie-ish games that are out and and will be coming out. Right now though, it's pretty decent.

Fun fact: if you make an account and set its region as Japan, you can see what the Japan e shop has to offer.
some cool stuff in the Japan store.
It has games, and amazing ones at that. However it only has a few first party games currently, all of which I highly recommend. The indi games and third party games currently available are also all pretty good, but by the end of this year and definitely next year the lineup for the Switch will be outstanding.
-
4 RespuestasI'm not an official Nintendo enthusiast so a lot of the first party doesn't excite me. That being said I bought the Switch for my travels. I like the Zelda game and look forward to Skyrim, Monster Hunter, Metroid, and a lot of other 3rd party titles that could possibly make it to the handheld.

1 RespuestaThe only disappointing thing about the indie games is that they're way overpriced and sales don't happen (yet). Like -blam!- why is Shantae $26 on Switch but on Xbox this week it's $10. (Canadian dollars)
-
Needs more AAA and legit RPG games. Doing alright though by the lol'd of it.
-
Small but i think in time it will be really solid. They have a handful of pretty good games out so far, but they definitely need more. The main problem is that its library feels extremely small due to leaving behind their eshop that they have been building up on the 3DS and wiiu. If they could get their eshop figured out and in order they would have a ton of games available to hold people off until the release of their future games (which look pretty great so far), and it could make them a bit of extra cash as well. I know that me and my friends would pick up all the old mario sports games from the game cube if they released them (for a fair price of course, not really into paying 80 dollars per game, maybe something like 40 for a combo pack of all the games together).

2 RespuestasPortable Skyrim actually has me tempted. As I have 2 kids I could easily justify the purchase too... *rubs hands evilly*
-
The existing library is small but pretty strong. BotW and Mario kart are my two main games for Switch right now, and I envision getting 100s of hours of fun out of them. But Switch needs more titles, first party or otherwise, that are of similar quality. I have high hopes for Odyssey and MP4.
-
It's got a pretty solid lineup of fun games, but I'm still waiting for smash bros to come to switch
-
I'll have to look into it now...
-
8 RespuestasIt has over 80 games available and it's only been out for four months. Show me another console that has done that in the last ten years.

1 RespuestaI love it so far. I usually like indie titles more than AAA ones, Spla2n is fresh, ARMS is a hit, and Mario Kart is gr8! Plus a Kirby game was announced! That alone makes it awesome!
-
2 Respuestas"Needs work" that is already being taken care so I vote solid. BotW, MK8, and Splatoon 2 are amazing. ARMS and Snipperclips are pretty solid games. Pokken Tournament and Mario+Rabbids look solid. Once Super Mario Odyssey drops, Switch will attain god tier status. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is supposedly dropping this year which will be awesome. Let's not forget the upcoming Pokemon, Kirby, and Metroid games.
-
I've mostly been playing Disgaea 5. Mario Kart 8 and BoTW are both great. I'd get Splatoon, but not too interested Arms looks fun, but I've got enough fighters this year. Mario + Rabbids will likely be my sleeper hit Mario Odyssey is likely GOTY material Xenblade 2 is allegedly coming out this year, another great title that I'm buying Pokken tournament is another fighter, this one I'll actually buy. By the end of the year I'll have at least 7 Switch games that aren't indie. Even then I've seen a few non indie games on the shop. I'd say right now it's first year will already be better than both Xbones and PS4's first year.
