Destiny planets
All screenshots and videos that I have seen show new places to travel on the Destiny 2 orbit (except for earth). However I have not seen any of the previous planets we explored in Destiny (except earth). Will we not be able to go to old locations such as Venus, Mars, etc..?

Because it's a new game, not a dlc to D1. There is no game sequel that will give you full new explorable spaces and put back all the old spaces from the previous game. If you still want to explore the existing planets, you can do so in D1.
