To actually gauge the temperature of the community as it relates to major shifts in design within the game. Many discussions have been started from the standpoint of, "Nobody wants this/Nobody likes that". I don't think such is accurate or productive in continuing a discussion. If the community/moderators/developers can see the actual inclinations of the community, it allows for more productive and focused conversations in general. Nobody actually believes that balancing and adjusting a game of this scope is an overnight project. It's more "alive" than that and needs to breathe and move around - but if we stifle such with a "everyone hates X or Y" approach, we're not having an honest and productive conversation. Hope that helps clarify the intention =) My usage of extra verbiage such as "if you really, really hate..." was due to me recognizing how inflammatory this community is and requires heavy-handed and polarizing terminology to get them motivated.

You're misunderstanding, the "major shift in design" has already occurred...my opening statement is not a contradiction if you have the capability to understand the words used within the context of this discussion. It's almost as if you're trying to deliberately misunderstand... It's almost like you had to look up the word obtuse as you took the incorrect meaning of it to be in regards to feelings/sensitivity...
