I'm 18 and they're funny to me. Maybe you should lighten up a little? Or maybe people just have different opinions on stuff. Idk, I like that they use the ghost as a point of comic relief majority of the time like Cayde rather than everything being super serious all the time. That's what Zavala and Ikora are for.

I think the issue is partly, as you sorta mentioned, we already get comic relief from Cayde. Playing the ttk was irksome. Youre on this big friggin Hive Doomsday Flagship yet youre being bombarded with these for lack of a better word, "witty" little quips. Even if it was just paced a little better, itd be fine, but ffs its every other minute. Something like the old Gears of War games is an example of better balancing their unnerving situations with jokes.
