I swear the majority of you guys are slower than watching paint dry........ the new weapons system is not because of PvP, just as PvE ammo drops are not because of PvP, slow charge rate on supers and abilities again NOT PVP.! this configuration is a setup to cause team play, now you have to think a little when you assemble a group. who will use what power weapons, who will be ranged, who will clear trash, and so on. this is also to keep most people from using one or two weapons for every event. everything that has changed in D2 has been clear setups for team oriented game play, in BOTH PvE and PvP. D1 has been preparing you for these things if you paid attention. Shaxx bounties ask for primary kills to get you used to more primary action, the quartermaster bounties to get you to use all types, the gunsmith with all types and activities to test them in. modifiers for primary damage or secondary damage to again train you into using certain types of weapons to use in situations. not because of PvP but because D1 people found one or two weapons and ONLY used those making cries for nerfs on everything that anyone figured out was an edge. PvE was made too easy by the use of a few very powerful weapons, and for many people were excluded from most groups if they didn't have weapon x....... given the chance, this system can make fro great team play, fun loadouts, and say it with me people; VARIETY. something new takes time to get used to. of course you won't jump in on the Beta and be as bad ass as your current guardian, you've spent years tweaking your guardian, finding the best weapons, gear, and perk sets to make it yours. this is a bare bones avatar in Beta, no mods, no familiar weapons, no gear that tweaks everything just how you like. you've seen less than 2% of the game, you still have a lot more info to learn, a lot more to be revealed, and a lot of testing things to see what works best for you. NONE of you started D1 mastering the system you grew into it, as you an and will with D2 if you pull your heads out of your sphincters and stop with the stupid everything that is not to my liking is the fault of PvP attitudes trying to change a game before you've even played it.
