You guys are the reason D2 is the way it is
...so why are you crying?
Community: shotguns are op, snipers are op, no skill, nerf nerf.
D2: k lets make them power weapons, plus only one guy on the team gets the pick up.
Community: (constant complaints about certain nades)
D2: k we will balance them all
Community: primaries are too weak and irrelevant
D2: k we will make it primary focused
Community: some classes have melee advantages over the others.
D2: k we give them all the same range.
Community: this super is op, that super is op
D2: k we balance them all and lower cool downs.
Im sure theres more ill add later. After all the complaints over 3 years, D2 is presented with much less shotgun and sniper killing, a relatively balanced shooter focused on primary gunplay, positioning, team work with decent nades and supers, nothing stands out above the rest, yet the complaints keep coming.
I dont get it. You wanted this, you wanted every damn thing nerfed and now you have it.

2 RespuestasEven look at the sidearm mess we have in D1. Or that I'm no longer able to defend myself against a shoulder charging Titan with a Shotgun. Shotguns were removed from D1 because there are skill brackets and Lobbies where it was enough to run around with a shotgun even without ADS and kill everyone, because the concept of looking at the radar was not known to them. D2 is the logical follow up to this stupidity, where single player skill counts for nothing and everybody just randomly spraying with his Pulse at the enemy team gets his "Defeats" aka Participation Trophy. At least with D2 they are now already scratching the bottom of the barrel. #notmydestiny

Balance is essential, but so is diversity. I think the original Destiny nailed the diversity end of the spectrum, but failed to meet par with the balance end, while the Destiny Two Beta fails to incorporate diversity and instead focuses on absolute balance.

9 RespuestasWell no. I agree with most of what you say but im sorry melee range wasnt the same for alll classes in d2 beta. And the supers, while having high cooldowns, def were not balanced.

All those complaints were by the pvp crowd. The pve players have been fine (for the most part) and have only bitched when they imimented changes because of the pvp whiners. Other than that, spot on.

After all the valid points you made, I've come to the conclusion that what's really wrong with Destiny right now is that it wasn't the CABAL who actually stole our light. It was BUNGIE who actually nerfed it all away over the years!!!!!! LOL!!

Not seperating PvE and PvP was and is the problem. Can only be solved by replacing the sandbox team and moron in chief Luke Smith.

They removed that from the perk trees and they could've removed all the other perks that were making shotguns an annoyance in the Crucible.

Shotguns were a big problem but everything except sidearms got punished. Grenades are pretty much the same and some are still useless. High impact auto rifles were constantly hit at being buffed by a good margin. The only really effective super yet is fist of havoc and maybe nova bomb. Arcstrider is easily avoidable, so is daybreak as well as sentinel. Grenades should be able to completely kill alone. Golden Gun doesn't last long enough. Supers take ages. Maybe we could use them atleast twice per game so it doesn't feel like too much.

Totally agree! Nicely done with your points. ...but don't forget their insatiable need to TRY and make D2 play like Halo. It's clearly a big goal, tho a horrible one.
