Can you imagine how sick it would be if random strikes would suddenly have a notification that said something like "[boss name] has become more powerful than we thought possible; reinforcements have been called in" and then other random guardians would be pulled into your strike?[/quote]
I like this idea. Bungie could make this to an event (like the ones in the patrol or like the alerts from warframe) that guardians can call for help in normal strikes (not nightfall!) and other Guardians have the chance to join in and help them out to win the boss fight or finish the strike.
For example Bungie could make it like that it sometimes happen when you start queuing in the matchmaking that you get the notification and then will 2 strike Team combined to one and they start the strike (maybe with more trash mobs).
I would like that. Not as a regular gamemode but sometimes it would be funny! :)

@bungie make this happen

Oh dang am I famous now? Hahahah thanks for everybody that approved of my idea. Once in a while my brain squeaks out a good idea or two

2 RespuestasWhat would be cool is if you could fight tougher and tougher bosses till your team couldn't beat it. Getting better and better rewards along the way.

I have 741 completions for Crotas End I soloed Crotas End all year 2 and year 3

1 RespuestaI always enjoyed Court of Oryx when you got 5+ guardians there. It was great when total randoms would cooperate; alternate runes; and help each other out. An 8 person strike would be fun as hell. Bungie could even make it 2 co-op teams of 4 in the Strike and whichever team has the highest aggregate score at the end of the Strike gets a better loot drop.

2 RespuestasWould be fun as hell. If not into strikes, hope they implemented something like that into patrol for destiny 2. Imagine walking around a location, and a flare goes up, with your ghost saying 'a guardian could be in trouble, we should investigate'. When you get there, it could be a a special public event with unique bosses you had to beat, and 1 guardian just isnt enough. Every guardian on that location could see the flare on their map, and could go join if they wanted to. Hell, expand it and give guardians in orbit a chance to come join if they wanted to. The flare spot could show up on that location's surface, signalling where other guardians could come in as re-enforcement. If Bungie really wanted to get crazy, they could scale the number and toughness of the enemies based on the number of guardians that join the fight.

2 RespuestasI'm SO glad more people agree and are catching on to this. Hopefully it'll catch on even more.

5 of all the raid bosses. Happy raging.

4 RespuestasEditado por KayOsS882: 7/25/2017 3:57:21 PMIf this is the case, they need to make the strikes more challenging, and i mean like 10x more challenging. Eight people shooting at a boss with rockets, supers, and snipers will make for a dull boss encounter. Imagine having a burn modifier and small arms modifier with eeight people. The boss might just give up and shoot himself.

I can see it now. *A ketch warps out of slip space above you, releasing spider walkers and skiffs all around you. * "Well we went in a little deep, didn't we? You know what they say, If you want something done, you do it yourself. " -Cayde-6 *A couple guardian transport ships appear from orbit. They gift you with Power Ammo and Cayde-6 with Red Jack support. * "More Guardians are on the way, but right now we need to push through this blockade and reach (boss name). You can do that, right?" "Of we can do that!" -Ghost

4 RespuestasDestiny already has a 6 player strike its called crotas end

4 RespuestasYou think a large strike sounds fun...it wouldn't be.

Wait So raids?
-
In D1, no. In sponge-boss-of-death in D2, o can see that working
-
1 Respuestawell, D2 strike takes longer than crota's raid
-
4 RespuestasBut why....? There wouldn't be enough enemies to shoot. Strikes are run just fine with 3, and there's always that one player that has to be greedy and shoot everything (like me).
-
Bump, yes please.

Just make the strikes challenge mode harder which requires 6 guardians that would be dope
-
Yeah could work a bit like joining allies notification. Finds two or three fireteams approaching a boss at the same time gives a "joining assault team" message instead and boom 6 or nine of you combine. More adds spawn during boss. It's health is boosted a little. Carnage. XD
-
Considering how long it took to drop the boss in the strike, 6-8 man fireteams seems like a reasonable request since we are now tasked with hiding behind rocks and whittling down their health with primaries. It would reduce the time needed to complete a strike back to Destiny 1 levels. But we'd need Bungie to patch in bigger rocks for us all to hide behind.
