Don't let the pre-orders fool you...

Pre-orders don't mean nearly as much now as they used to, especially regarding this game. 1) Destiny was hyped to be the next Halo. Everyone was pumped for a next gen Halo MMO experience. This generated so much buz that everyone pre-ordered the game out of sheer excitement (and fear that they wouldn't be able to get their hands on a copy if they didn't pre-order) 2) If it wasn't for Destiny screwing everyone over with the lack of content, then people would be more willing to pre-order D2. Most people are just waiting to see how much content the main game has to offer. 3) People are much more comfortable not pre-ordering now as well, because more and more people are switching to digital downloads over physical copies. Trying to back up your lame excuses for why Destiny 2 will flop with pre order numbers is a scape goat. Most of us can agree that there are some small problems with PvE, but they can easily be fixed without question by release. Most of them probably already have. This game will explode after launch once people realize that the PvE is fixed. Also, competitive players always seem to show up late to the party. The perfect example of this is R6 Siege. This game exploded once competitive players saw the potential. This game has competitive written all over it. It's so balanced in the BETA already that my friends and I are already pumped to get into the competitive play on launch. The PvE will work itself out im sure.
