It was 3am here in Australia. I was sleeping so i guessed i missed my only chance to see the farm before full release. GG bungie, thanks for thinking of the people in the southern hemisphere

Really, the best timezone was the UK. 10am PST when most people would be at work. Bungie can't accommodate for every timezone and Australia was never going to get preferential treatment. It's an American game. I'm in Australia too and stayed up watching Janet King on ABC iView. Had to force myself to stay awake. Then I just shot awake at 3:10am.

Haha. It was 5am here in NZ 🇳🇿. Didn't get up for it though. 'Tis only a social space. Would've been cool though.
-
We stayed up for it. We got carried away doing some control and some raids then next min 3am. Soooooo tired today
-
Nice. :)
-
I would have got up at 3 am

I don't think you understand how timezones work...

Dude you haven't even gotten above 4k grimiore, I've never seen you on our servers and I play this game quite a bit. Don't be a sook. Was I chaffed at the fact it was at 3am? No, because iron banner and everything starts at 3am, so why should this be any different? The percentage of people playing in this part of the world I imagine would be a lot smaller than the Northern Hemisphere, so why would they put it at a time that it's prime player base would miss out?
-
And in response to your comment about my score. I was a year one destiny player and was really dissatisfied with the lack of content. I stopped playing after a month. I only got back into destiny about 2 months ago so yeah i have a low grimiore score. Hopefully with the new matchmaking in D2 i might be able to do the Raids and things that i struggle to get a fireteam for.
-
My score has nothing to do with this. Yeah Iron Banner starts 3am but i can wake up at a normal time and still join......for a week. There is no comparison so your comment is just pointless.
-
It's actually not because I gave legitimate reasons as to why this happened, why it wasn't as important for Australian players and why the time was what it was. I can go further? You'd want more players putting as much stress on the server at once within a specific time frame that is limited so that they can fix any potential bugs relating to maximum people visiting the area. If the time was spread out, people would be more casual about visiting and they couldn't conclude the same data.

Youtube it crybaby

It was a test, and they got what they needed
-
you do realise the southern hemisphere goes all the way around?
-
I should never of listened to those flat earth society folk.
-
me either :'-(
-
Australia isn't real. It's just the illuminati trolling the world...
-
lmao shhhh don't tell anyone
-
As I have told other Australians, blame your ancestors, you could have been playing it in Britain at 6pm. But bruce just had to murder Sheila and look where it got you, not visiting the farm in the destiny 2 beta.
-
lol bloody bruce. It's always his fault.

If it was that important you would have set an alarm...
