While I do believe sex is different to gender, I believe this difference is purely psychological.
Physically, you are a boy or girl, but mentally, you think you are something else (whatever that might be, though there probably aren't 76 things to identify as).

It doesn't seem to be an issue of "I'm a girl in a guy's body" so much as it is "I'm a guy with certain hormonal imbalances that significantly affect how I think and feel." We shouldn't give as much shit to transgendered people as we do, but I think it's an issue that can be solved without overextending the sphere of acceptance to the point where pseudoscience rules as law.
