Do you not believe in religion or also not in God. One or the other or both. I mean getting out of church or mosque duties is one thing but denying God is another. Don't want to mix them up.

Editado por TechnoKat: 7/25/2017 4:58:31 AMAreligious people don't hate religion. They hate the people that spew their theistic veiws across everything like it's a matter of life or death. They hate people that can't keep their thoughts to themselves and then somehow feel vindicated and justified in judging those people who don't share the same thoughts because of a collection of scriptures that they were made to read growing up. You know how religious people hate it when people throw science at them? Cause I've always found that as strangely ironic. Personally, I don't care for religion. Wether or not one religion is right or another doesn't concern me. But the unbelievable, for lack of a better word, ungodly things that have been done over discrepancies in which pile of paper a set of people believe? That's the kind of stuff that makes me question who's really got the right idea.

Yeah, actually, I worship mehrunes Dagon, the daedric god of destruction, soooo....

4 RespuestasI believe in a higher power, yet I do not know who/what it is. For all I know, it could be God, Zeus, Allah, or even the force from Star Wars. I know there is something watching over us... Influencing us... But I do not know further than that.

3 RespuestasCan I hate what religion has made people do without hating religion? Some of those dudes that were killing the other dudes had to be cool dudes. And some of the dudes that got killed by the first dudes had to be cool dudes too.

I deny gods existence as there is no proof or evidence suggesting it.
-
3 RespuestasBoth. I do not follow any religion nor do I believe in any deity.

I hate religion. I don't really hate the idea of God. I just hate it when people try to explain god (religion) or give meaning to life/death by using god as an explanation, or really just using god as an explanation for anything. Why couldn't we just have no religions and instead just have god believers and people that don't believe? Then when the end comes people were either right or wrong.

5 RespuestasDamn faithless imperials. Tīw, Þunor and Wōden are the only gods worth a damn.

I like religion. The stories and stuff are really interesting. I don't believe in them however.

1 RespuestaI do not believe in established religion or a singular intelligent god. I do believe there is something greater than ourselves, but I do not believe we can ever know it well enough to put it in a book and turn it into doctrine. Established religion is just a tool to control people, not unlike government.

Please see the various commentary regarding god by George Carlin. He nailed it for me.

13 RespuestasI used to be Catholic. I can confidently say that there's no God.

Editado por pValue2010: 7/24/2017 3:49:08 PMI don't believe in a any gods, especially not a personal god that cares about what I do in the bedroom (that's just ludicrous). But if I say I hate religion, I would likely be referring to the close-mindedness and anti-intellectualism that many religious sects encourage.

1 RespuestaI think religion causes more problems than it solves. I don't need religion to be a good person. I don't steal, -blam!-, treat people like shit for no reason ect. No, I don't believe in god. I can't say there isn't a god/gods though.

2 RespuestasReligion is mankinds pathetic attempt to understand God, and I don't believe we are capable... I'm a firm believer that anything we do on earth, good or bad, will not have any affect on what happens when we die...

3 Respuestas
Do you not believe in religion or also not in God. One or the other or both. I mean getting out of church or mosque duties is one thing but denying God is another. Don't want to mix them up.
It's not that people deny any deity, it's just that they do not believe in one, since there is no actual evidence for any deity.

First recognise that hating religion and not being religious are two vastly different things. Now, the main reason for people hating religion (or a specific religion) is that they disagree with that religion's teachings in a huge way. Another, yet not as valid reason, is that they believe religious folk are idiots. You're best asking people individually instead of treating them as a collective group though.

24 Respuestas
Do you not believe in religion or also not in God. One or the other or both.
I'm confused on how someone could believe in a god but not be a part of the corresponding religion.

21 RespuestasAre you just flabbergasted as to how someone could not believe in your precious magical god.
-
3 RespuestasI believe that religion exists, I just don't believe anything in them. The way I see religion, it all comes down to helping people to make yourself feel better or starting wars because your religion is slightly different than the opposition... or because your religion told you to.

1 RespuestaI don't believe a God or multiple gods exist. I do think that religion can install good morals into anyone of any age, but there is a fine line between being a follower and having your life consumed by it. Some stories you hear are people of the latter group. I personally do not follow a religion, but I do not criticize others based on if they follow a religion or not. Reminds me of one kid I met who was a hardcore Christian who tried to enforce his beliefs on some random Korean kid. Needless to say it didn't work because he's so terrible at promoting things in general.

I've done more work for my church than most. Countless days outside in the hot sun, moving houses for strangers, cleaning up, doing yard work, and getting jack shit in return is why I reserve the right to call church a pain in the ass. I love God, but I'd rather not be with his normie people.

To me religion just seems like a way for people to explain thing they don't understand. There could be a god there also could be no god. Don't really have definitive proof either way. If there is a god he/she seems to be pretty bad at there job considering the horrible things that have happened
