Everyone who played the D1 beta thought the game would be epic (which it was for me). Huge patrol zones, exploration on the moon and other stuff kept us excited for realease. We all know how Vanilla D1 was at the end but we all know how they improved the game over the last 3 years (PvE wise at least).
We all will be surprised how good D2 will be at the end. A gorgeous, interesting game, with enough content to play for the next couple of month.

That's not even the point. The point is, when did you get the impression that destiny 1 was a full game? And how much money did that cost you?

For me it was a full game at the beginning. I bought it 2 times, have over 2000 hrs on 4 different accounts and 9 maxed out chars.
