I got Contrast last year in one of those bundle deals from Bundle Stars or maybe Humble Bundle, but didn't play it until recently. It had really interesting game mechanics [shifting in/out of the shadows in order to solve puzzles] and a setting not often explored in video games [1920's lounge/burlesque club]

I'm a big fan of the Sherlock Holmes games on console, besides those I've found most of my favourite unheard of games through Games with Gold.

WildStar. A remarkably fun MMO, with a bit of a Borderlands feel to it. Cartoony graphics and comedic effect, with a LOT of messed up stuff to go with.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/420530/OneShot/ Short game, might be a bit overpriced, but if you're one of those guys who are into story, character development, 4th wall breaking, puzzles, and can really care about characters, then just pick it up.

Hyperdimension Neptunia series. First three games were meh, but they were remade into excellent games with the Re;Birth trilogy. VII has been amazing so far. The games are (usually) turn-based RPGs with a slight emphasis on character positioning. The stories are goofy as hell, and full of lesbians anime girls. Inb4 weeb Inb4 pedo

2 RespuestasI'd say Freedom Wars and Valkyria Chronicles but both have pretty strong cult followings so I'm sure there are a few fans around here. Bushido Blade is another great game but I'm not sure if it counts as it was pretty popular in it's day, so while most younger gamers might not know it, a lot of older ones would A game most people probably won't know would be Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines. Basically, your family is cursed with accelerated lives, meaning you have on average two or three year lifespans. You play the game over various generations. The game is divided up into months and each month you can set about doing various tasks such as training family members, crafting weapons/armor, visiting other noble houses (where you can shop for items they specialize in or adopt members of their family into your own), exploring dungeons or setting up unions with various dieties that will result in new family members. Exploring dungeons awards you honor which allows for unions with more powerful dieties, resulting in stronger offspring. Offspring also inherit traits from both parents (both physically and stat wise... one of my strongest characters had a fish diety for a father and had these dead, soulless, black shark eyes and a Voldemort like nose... creepy motherf***er). Family members get even stronger through training and experience in combat via the dungeons. If they are strong enough when they eventuality age and die, they can be chosen for deification, meaning they can be used in future unions. Basically, it's a lot like breeding in Monster Rancher (another oft forgotten or otherwise unknown game). The premise is really weird and "breeding" family members (sometimes with their long dead ancestors) might cause some people to give this game a pass rather than a chance which is a shame because its actually pretty enjoyable (It's actually pretty comparable to Monster Rancher 4, including timed dungeons and character fatigue). Unfortunately, like Freedom Wars, this game was only ever released on PSVita, so a lot of people would likely never even hear about it.

Pokémon puzzle League. So addictive.

Ehrgeiz. Cool little PS1 game I barely remember. Had an arcade version with FF7 fighters then it had a little solo/adventure/quest mode where you explored a dungeon, got gear, and fought bosses.
