Oh my god. It's the same slot. You obviously know what I ment.

no sorry it's in a good slot for PvE but like he said in update page power ammo drop a way more in final game and weapon do more damage than in beta right now. edit: what bungie said: The PVE game tuning has changed pretty significantly since the Beta build was deployed. The nature of a Beta of this scale requires that it’s based off a build of the game that is now months old. So, in many cases, your feedback is helping us validate changes that were previously made based on internal feedback and playtesting. For example, we too felt that ammo (especially power ammo) was too scarce in PvE. In addition to retuning the drop rates, we built a system that guarantees power ammo drops for you and your Fireteam from certain enemies, giving power weapons a more reliable and predictable role in your arsenal. Other areas where we’ve made significant tuning changes include grenade effectiveness in PvE, Boss vitality, and weapon damage against non-player combatants.

  • I've never seen such dick riding in my life. Only people like you seem to think it's a good idea while I've read countless of comments and articles on how many disagreed with it. Snipers, shotguns, fusions, rocket launchers, swords are all in the power slot. That's a huge amount of variety and we can't access all of it all the time. If you decide you need a shotgun instead of a sniper, you lose all your ammo or vice versa. Or with any other weapon. That's ridiculous. In the final game you will only be able to carry one of each and not have that ability to switch heavies for different situations. It's a terrible design. All while primary and secondary are just the same weapons but one has a burn on it

You just don't see us making a metric ton of posts, topics, or articles talking about it. Funny you'd talk about loss of ammo when switching weapon types because that has always been the case in Destiny. As for changing your weapons on the fly. Bungie is adding a load out lock for some activities. I understand what Bungie is getting at with this. It is about team work, team building, and team roles. The way it looks to me is Bungie doesn't want people to think they are a one man army. You may not like that but that is what is happening.
