... Keep changing their argument.
At first, it was "it's only the beta"
But that didn't work because we all know that Bungie is slower than guardians in D2.
Then it was "it's a month old build!"
But that didn't work either, because it's pretty useless and pointless to test an old build that's already allegedly (ha, sure) been fixed.
So now the new buzzword?
"Certified"
LMAO bruh
Edit: Nope, I'm not saying that liking the game or being a fan of the game is bad. Hell, I love Destiny even more than I loved Halo, and that's saying alot. But I'm not in love with Bungie, just the game.
What's bad is being borderline zealous in your defense of everything that Bungie does. They have made, and continue to make, mistakes. Big ones. Telling people to not give feedback on this mistakes is the problem.

11 RespuestasThe game is badly tuned right now for PVE play. But then so was Titanfall 2 when its beta/"tech test" dropped last year. The level of outrage that community was hitting Respawn with, makes the response to this beta look downright gentlemanly by comparison. You had large sections of the community insisting that Respawn "had to" delay the release of the game because it was so broken. Respawn retuned the game in less than 6 weeks.....and everyone was happy launch day. Unless you want to accuse Bungie of lying to us....they've already acknowledged that even they realized that the tuning of the game is off....and are already in the process of fixing the things most people are complaining about. Bungie got the big things right.....but a number of little things wrong. People are (justifiably) mad because the things that Bungie got wrong are important. It seems we've been heard. So now time to step back and see what Bungie does with the feedback.

8 RespuestasIt doesn't worry me that they might not change it, they probably will (especially with latest news from Bungie) What worries me is that some senior designer over there thought the movement, ammo drop rate and weapon damage stats were acceptable to begin with. Like, really? You were ok with the TTK, senior designer? You think it's cool that a golden gun shot can't kill a low level grunt Cabal??? That's the kind of shit that should keep people up at night. Sure, they can change things later once the community sounds off, but the fact that they thought it was cool to begin with. Those problems run deep.

1 RespuestaDon't buy it. Simple. You obviously care yourself or you wouldn't post. #we'reallfanboys

9 RespuestasThis post is exactly the reason I love visiting this forum! Fanboys vs Toxic Trolls vs Entitled Kids vs Grumpy Adults vs Hypocrites vs Normal Gamers. And everyone's opinion is right! Aaaaaahhhhhh, good stuff. Call me whatever you want, but what it comes down to is I luckily have disposable income that I can choose to throw wherever I want, whenever I want. I chose to throw $100 of it at Bungie for D2 - a kids video game - simply because I want to play it. Nothing more, nothing less.

3 RespuestasSoooo we should treat betas as finished products? Got it. If Bungie admits it's a months old build chosen for the sake of technical stability, we should assume they're lying? Got it. If Bungie agrees with some of the issues we point out (like lack of power ammo in PVE) and say they fixed it internally, we should assume they're still lying? Got it. Basically, always assume the absolute worst, always assume the developers are lying about everything, and always assume they literally want us to hate their game. Seems like a reasonable way to go about things. While we're at it, why not assume the devs are also lying about launching with 5 Crucible modes? We've only seen 2 so far, so there must only be 2. We've only seen 1 story mission, and 1 strike, so that must be all there is. Also, the Farm social space had no vendors in the beta, so there must be no vendors in the finished game either. What the hell Bungie, your game sucks! Anyone who disagrees with me is just a blind fanboy sheep! Am I doing it right?

17 RespuestasSaid it before. Say it again. There's no excuse to provide a "beta" that is based on an already obsolete build of the game. There is no reason to assume the problems with this game version and the "newer" game version would parallel. This is absolutely what they planned to release on release date and they are getting their balls run through a cheese grater for it so they have to pretend "oh no we knew this was shit and we've totally already fixed it before you needed to say anything"
-
2 RespuestasI think it's the anger towards ammo drops, ability recharge timers and player damage that is confusing to gripe about since I believe it was made quite clear that the numbers most likely will change before launch. I think it was pretty clear before the beta launched that any numbers found shouldn't have been taken too seriously.

You triggered a new change in argument. I can feel it.

1 RespuestaEditado por Sickraps, Kell of Bars: 7/24/2017 9:48:09 PMQuestion, how many betas have you played where you were absolutely sure you were playing the most recent, currently being worked on as you play it, build?
-
They just keep moving the goalposts lol
-
2 RespuestasLet's just skip over all of those and get straight to the point: "they are working hard to fix it in Destiny 3"
-
33 RespuestasThey're grasping for literally anything now. I just got told in another thread that this is all actually the player's fault, not joking. Its like a drowning man scrambling for a piece of driftwood to stay afloat lol.
-
3 RespuestasThere's also this argumentative roadmap that we were supposed to follow before forming an opinion on D2: "Wait for the reveal." Then... "Wait for the beta." Then... "Wait for the full game." I even read someone arguing to wait until we're leveled-up. We are not dealing with reasonable adults here.

Editado por For_I_am_Lucifer: 7/24/2017 9:36:29 PMJust because you don't like something or changes bungie has made doesn't make them wrong or mistake Also bungie isn't the first nor are the only developer that gives us months old beta, most developers do to confirm their balancing or changes.

26 RespuestasEditado por Vrexxen: 7/24/2017 1:48:47 PMNot sure what the arguments are but beta !== demo. Beta tests are typically done on a 6month or older build as it's the most stable beta build. The beta wasn't that bad. I was averaging 130+ kills in the strike and was having a blast. Dunno why everyone else seemed to be having such a hard time.

1 RespuestaLoss of point for using "bruh".

1 RespuestaI'm not sure you understand how betas work.
-
1 Respuestai liked D1... i liked the beta for D2.... I will be buying it. Money well spent in my opinion. cheers!

1 Respuesta
At first, it was "it's only the beta"
you say "at first" as if it's anything different

2 RespuestasSome juicy comments here, bump for juiciness.
-
8 RespuestasYeah well both sides are pretty ignorant, but what else can you do when people don't actually want to articulate a thought and just go for mad zingers. In the meantime I will keep watching both sides and laughing at how predictable they are.

1 RespuestaPeople dont like being told their reality is fake. Its like the guy you tell someones been taking their flowers at a store you seen it at night. And he say oh not here not in this town that cant happen. They literally think the town is perfect and their reality is constrewed but its how they stay so happy.
-
6 RespuestasSimply put... anyone who is looking forward to D2 has zero intelligence. The gameplay and mechanics are light years worse than the current D1.
-
It's funny how all the doubters will think of anything to hate on. (The tables can be turned bitch lol).

11 RespuestasWhat if someone likes most of the changes?
