I think it's fine, people are just too used to dying before you can blink...cod is an excellent replacement for people who don't like it.
Not every game has to be exactly the same :/
I like having the potential to beat the one that ambushed me, because if I can out strafe and out manuever you mid battle, I deserve to beat you.

Editado por NECRO_TYPE1: 7/22/2017 6:23:05 PMIf you out maneuver someone you're probability of winning is high. However, the TTK is much more forgiving especially when player movement is so incredibly slow. If you weaken an opponent the chances of moving in solo for the finish is slim with all this team shooting going on. This Beta has indicated that the game wants to be more forgiving to making errors because you can just move out of the line of fire with ease.

But I've tried running and since we're so slow it would be easy to shoot the opponent that's running. Remember your character isn't the only one that's slow, and even if there is team shooting then that only makes you the player a fool for trying to 1v3 in the first place. I've played games like this for so many years and it's not hard to tell when or where to run, because especially in destiny 2's case, your going to see the other enemies or even see them on your radar, before you yourself get caught. The first map for control they gave us is very unforgiving for people who rush because it's so open. The competitive map we got is more closed but allows for some easy flanking, so it's not hard to predict when someone is flanking or even when there's more than one opponent. The new radar is very powerful, utilize it.

Yes, it's easy to maneuver behind cover in the control map even taking a lot of damage you're still going to be able to regroup most of the time. I get it. I actually thought I would like the slower TTK but now I find it very undesirable with how slow the movement is. When everything is so slow you can only play the game one way. Yes, the competitive map allows flanking. But I've not seen that go too well in the Beta. I know how to use the radar there's no point in going over that, however, even that is nerf'd when coming out of ADSing. I'm simply not a fan, but maybe this will change when the full game is released.... but I'm sure it won't.

But I've only had very few people actually run from me, and even then they were left incredibly low. Unless your team mates are potatoes and are just camping b, your not ever going to get anywhere. I don't even understand these problems people have. If the other person is basically behind cover, it's almost ridiculous to think they won't run away. I mean if it's THAT big of a deal they could always make it like halo 5 where if you start sprinting your shields stop recharging, but even now I still don't have any problems with it. If your opponents low and they start running, expect it to always be towards team mates and back off. The kill isn't more important than actually living now is it? If team shooting is a problem than PLEASE, by all means, stop playing it. There's no reason for people to play a game they are just going to complain about the whole time. And I'm not directing the above sentence at you, but when a game is trying to focus more on teamwork...you can't be angry that team shooting is a problem.

I'm very receptive to others thoughts on the matter and can understand both sides. To be used to a certain TTK and dynamic of playing the game or your role on the team being so versatile and then have that completely turned upside down is disappointing to say the least. On the flip side, there are positives about the primary fights that I really enjoyed, those were great. It all was very underwhelming when i thought about how much more I wanted to take on during the match or find 1v1s. Some are going to enjoy themselves and that's great. I just loved D1 even with all its faults as I improved my PvP game substantially over the course of my playing time. This is a Beta after all and I'm sure things will change. Only time will tell. But it will help to provide feedback while this Beta is going on. It will provide a means to the developers to meet the players on common grounds and find an optimal median of how the crucible functions.

Editado por DuBChiri2: 7/22/2017 8:21:37 PMI enjoyed destiny 1 as well and I agree that the changes they made aren't exactly to my liking, but if it allows for a greater scope to balance the weapons, I'll take it. Because the primaries in destiny currently all have relatively the same ttk, but it's been really hard to maintain that. By broadening the scope they will be able to fine tune the damage better, and it will even allow for more proper balancing. Give it some time, I'm sure they will at least attempt to improve it, although I honestly don't have many issues with it...asides from smg damage and ammo efficiency, and pulses being too good, and scouts being kind of...bad, but overall they have done a decent job trying new things. I hope they continue to try new things because although people might prefer the originals style, changing things allows for one to experience more. It's like how playing one cod is like playing the rest.
