Hi, I was wondering if I could connect my Xbox to my smartphone via an HDMI to micro USB cord so I can use the phone as a screen to play on.
If not, is there any other way I can use a phone as the screen to play on?
Thanks for any help!

Kinda I know that you can connect the smartphone or other smart devices to your xbox through the app One instance is that you can control your xbox with your phone (found that out a week ago)

2 RespuestasI can confirm that it is possible to use a laptop as a screen via stream through an HDMI cord, but this is something entirely different for me.

5 RespuestasI tried, you can't.

2 RespuestasI've never heard of a phone that is able to take a video input and display it. I've heard of certain laptops being able to do that, but there are few and they may not even exist anymore.

Only if it's a Windows phone I believe.

1 RespuestaPretty sure you can stream your Xbox to a computer then hypothetically stream you desktop onto your phone. It'd be like streamception and probably would have a noticeable lag but idk never tried to

I use game streaming on my Xbox app with my windows 10 laptop. I don't know if that works with mobile.

I doubt it. Connections are specific. If it's says USB to hdmi, then you can't use it the other way and I don't see how you would find a connection to do that since a phone is treated more of a device. I know the Xbox has some kind of remote play (or they are making it) but even then, I think it was for tablets and pc. Not even the ps4, that has been doing remote play for along time, does it on phones that are not Sony phones. Maybe if you look into a Microsoft phone it may have some functionality but I wouldn't know.
