Paul Tassi from Forbes nailed it here. 100% agree that PvP is/has ruined PvE not just here in the beta but from year 1 with the Vex and Suros and ongoing. To this day I have never seen any Fallen or Hive ask for weapons to be nerfed. 😉

Editado por lCertifiedl: 7/22/2017 10:27:51 AMI still really like destiny 1 but can't argue with the article. I really do believe there are much better PvP experiences out there and bungie should focus on making as much varied pve content as they can.
-
Bumped. My thoughts exactly. I'm mostly a PvE player and I have hated all the constant nerfs to the fun in PvE content for the sake of balancing PvP.
-
Glad this is going mainstream. Bungie can't ignore it, even if they wanted to.
-
I honestly don't understand how yall kill the same cpu 1000x and don't get bored. Atleast pvp is different and you need some finger skills

Editado por TotalDramaGamer: 7/23/2017 5:26:30 AMLol, yet I keep hearing 'always always always' in the PvP realm. I always get stuck, I always get sniped, it's always a shotgun rusher, Titans always do this, primaries are always less used, grenades are always spammed. Please, PvP is way more repetitive than PvE. It's either meta or bust. Camp B or bust. Grab power ammo or bust. Have fun with that. Spawns never change, locations never change, objectives never change, you're on the same limitations as PvE with the downside that you're always complaining about something and your tactics are effectively stagnant 2 weeks into the game. Which, again, is super repetitive and annoying.
-
I don't understand how PvP players play the same people on the same maps with the same weapons and tactics for so long without getting bored. Both PvE and PvP can become monotonous. You can just use more weapons in PvE without feeling at a disadvantage.
-
Thanks for linking that, very well put and very much in line with my feelings on the matter.

Hit the nail on the goddamn head

I cant stand the forbes articles on destiny. TBH. I really dislike the youtube ranters also. The only thing that is correct about destiny being a success. Is the number of players actually playing it. That is a stat that isn't currently possible to track. Seeing the incredible particle physics, and all of the Pve holograms, and display interfaces. I'm thinking there will be a lot for PVE co op coming. I hope. I'm not so interested in the 4v4 right now. It just seems just ok.

Spot on

Now there is an article that is spot on. Says what many of us have been thinking and complaining about for a long time.

Editado por Nineball2112: 7/21/2017 2:51:22 PMIt's beyond obvious that this is what Bungie is doing. I'd LOVE to hear the unfiltered logic on this. Why is this being done? D2 is NOT as fun as D1 was. It's a head scratcher and doesn't make sense to me. Again, I WANT to like D2 as much as I did D1, but instead of looking forward to something, I'm now in the position of sighing every time I think about how it's going to be. Also this quote in that article says it all: "For me, the larger, fundamental change to weapon loadouts is where things really start to go off the rails." I agree 1,000% with that. If they reverted back to the original loadout, hell, I'd look past all the rest. That is my #1 major beef with D2.
-
Same man same it's mine as well
-
100% Agreed. I am still planning on playing D2, but if things don't change, my interest in D2 wont last long.
-
The article pretty much nails it.

Separate pvp and pve loadouts

I love his articles. He says what I feel in a more elegant and diplomatic way. I just end up raging in my frustration.

Editado por Barrier: 7/20/2017 10:54:59 PMGlad the word is spreading They'll probably fix it in a $40 DLC
-
-
Or $20 if you buy it as a new player then
-
That's a perfect article for what is going on in D2 and how to fix it...separate the 2 game modes. They are 2 different game modes and should feel as such. No more of the crap they said in D1 where they were like they don't want you to go into crucible and something behaves different than in PvE...you know what game mode you chose from the start and so should know what to expect. If you don't then you will quickly learn. PvP feels good in D2 but at the expense of PvE. So much of the fan base have clamored for the separation of PvP and PvE for the longest and Bungie still haven't listened.
-
It's not like we took wormwood into pve and wondered what was wrong.
-
Yeah, they should just hold on the release for a year or so and split their character classes.
