Skill is gone in PVP
Being a fairly good PVP player in D1 and able to have a chance to kill 2 people, the new system in D2 is terrible. The guns are too weak or the TTK is too long.
PVP is unbearable. If bungie wants a team gamemode they have ToO!
My opinion I don't like it.

Skill is not gone but you can be better than the other guys and lose the fight because your gun takes too long to wipe him, by the time it does the guy he has been holding hands with all map will sneeze on you and kill you.

I had a 0.6 k/d in D1 and now I have transformed into a crucible GOD....1.65....2.5. And I am not even making any kills. I have even had a 10 kill streak. It is amazing. I can defeat opponents purely by will. Suck it you scrubs. /s So yeah...this system feels like it is cuddling me.

Gun skill is the new meta 🤔 Like jumping around with superpowers doesn't take skill? The ability to wipe a whole team with bladedancer and they never see it coming, takes no skill? I must have been playing a different game. Gunskill is the new meta...fun will not be. .02

Here are the things I've seen posted since Destiny released. 1. Suros= no skill 2.Fusions= no skill 3. 3 tap HC= no skill 4. Shotgun= no skill 5. Sniper= no skill 6. Pulse Rifle = no skill 7. Arc bolt= no skill 8. Fire bolt= no skill 9. Rockets= no skill 10. Warlock Melee= no skill 11. Blade Dancer= no skill 12. Golden gun= no skill 13. Titan skating= no skill 14. Axion bolt= no skill 15. Shoulder charge= no skill 16. FoP= no skill 17. Thorn= no skill 18. Side arms= no skill I'm going to stop here. Because now we have slow and weak guardians and it's entirely our fault. The sweats use tier 3 and and 4v4 and other rules to bring skill right? Or something like that? Behold the fruits of the three years of crying about every gun, super and ability that this community demanded. Not naming specifics. You only need to google old posts to see for your self. The irony is players really didn't want what they asked for. They just wanted to not die.

2 RespuestasI think this PVP takes more skill. Instead of just attaching grenades and running around a corner you have to pick your battles, work with your team and overall be more skillful.

By skill I'm assuming you mean: OhKo Shoulder charge OhKo Sticky Grenades Sidearm 4 Life Warlocks 20 mile melee range Nade/Smoke wombo combo Icebreaker Shotgun rushing Shadestep* Hand Cannons with the range of the height of a medium sized hill. Did I mention sticky grenades? Oh, also flame shield. Because when you say skill, you can't possibly be referring to: Tactical Gun play Actual Gun skill Limited abilities without OhKo capabilities. Nah, that can't be it at all.

Totally disagree. Its all about gun skill now due to slow ability cool downs. The weapon slots are a big improvement for pvp as well.

I'm a solo casual player at best, and even I was able to take down 2 players by myself a few times in the Beta. Head shots are key.
