Lol are we really gonna act like that PvP stuff wasn't ridiculous . I'm excited to see the full game as you but people come on.I'm seeing white knights on forums , that map is identical to the current location. You can literally go there now , that is so lazy development no excuse for that.

I don't ever remember playing this on destiny 1. Is it an exclusive for pc? Xbox always gets the shaft ;)
-
Ikr. "Here's a preview of the new game, by the way it's somewhere you can go in destiny 1"😁 "Thanks bungie, that's erm great" 🤔
-
They've remaid it what the cruible match there they have added caves more towers 4 snipers platforms on side of map 2 sneak up on enemy or just take a shortcut.
-
3 RespuestasWhat else would you expect from bungie? Wouldn't surprise me if there was a mission there that was backwards. BTW all of the tools that are defending this.....seriously? You accept the fact that you are paying for contents you already played

2 RespuestasThis community reminds me of the Dark Souls pansies that were pissed off when they brought back places such as "Anor Londo". They brought it back so masterfully and made it such a great place to revisit, yet people were pissed off and said they were just doing it for fan-service. Yet, I doubt a majority of them realized that the place you fight the first boss in the final DLC is actually the main hub from the first Dark Souls, Firelink Shrine.

This forum is a very strange place.
...that map is identical to the current location. You can literally go there now , that is so lazy.
Why don't you just do us all a huge favor right now and actually go there yourself instead of starting stupid threads? Because (spoilers!), you'll quickly find the location is very, very different.

COD does the same thing yet you will say wow nice old maps

56 RespuestasWhat I don't understand is that with your stuff gone , & more importantly my stuff gone. Plus the cabal taking over everywhere why the hell are we fighting each other. Why is PVP even in the game at this point. Common sense would say that we should deal with the current attack from the enemy first ! Maybe i could understand it if when killing a fellow guardian we could steal their stuff. But that doesn't seem to be the case. Plus reducing our number doesn't make much sense. But maybe the tower pvp makes sense if we have all gone there to get some left over engrams.

This the only location from d1 visited in d2

2 RespuestasI don't have issue with the same map/area being used. What gets my spidey senses tingling is that Bungie is showcasing an area that we are all familiar with. We've seen 1 new PVP map and now this one. This makes me wonder "How many maps will be completely new and how many maps will be D1 area throwbacks?"
-
1 RespuestaIn years past , several franchises would recycle maps and this was all enjoyed and written off as Nostalgia. The problem we are seeing in this day in age and with this game in particular is that there have been countless times where it has been speculated that Destiny has been cut up and sold to us piece by piece. Now if a map comes up such as this, the player base will pick it apart as something that should have been added previously but was saved for D2 where Rise of Iron was originally set to reside but was unable to once the launch date got pushed back. It's going to be extremely hard for Bungie and Destiny to get over that stigma from this point forward ; warranted or not.

Editado por SmashvilleViking: 7/14/2017 3:19:39 PMI didn't know we could play PvP in the Iron Temple. I know a few people that have wanted to use it for PvP.

11 RespuestasWow. First, the game is too different. Now it's too similar. Will anything make you guys happy?
-
This is a great idea, it's a little throwback to what we had. Might as well get rid of all subclasses because they were in destiny 1 aswell
-
I actually thought it was a very good idea, would've been funny if the actual mountain was included, trying to kill a sniper up top of the mountain would be a pain but a funny pain.

11 RespuestasI see two things wrong with this. 1. People are calling this a "throwback" map. This would assume that D1 had a similar map, which it doesn't. They just took assets from a D1 pve area and said hey, let's make this a map. Odds are this was supposed to be in RoI, but they saved it for D2. Lazy and, to me, insulting. 2. This is what, the second map we've seen in D2? And they decided to showcase an area we've already seen and explored! Why in gods name would they think that's a good idea?! The whole thing from "soup to bones" is just lazy and annoying to me.

4 RespuestasEditado por GalaxySpider: 7/14/2017 6:40:51 AMSo when The Taken King receycles several PvP maps for PvE (all Subclass mission, also the NTTE quest, two more during the Gijallarhorn quest in RoI) absolutely NO ONE is complaining (6 maps in total!), and now D2 comes and puts in that ONE PvE map in PvP and a shitstorm starts?? Get. A. Life. Seriously. Halo always had throwback maps and everyone was happy. Now suddenly everyone acts surprised when something like that happens in a Bungie game again. Are you kiddin' me. That's called fanservice. If you don't like PvP then don't play it.
-
How dare Bungie uses the same area twice!
-
Because sequels NEVER have nods to it's predecessor... I mean really, this game has flaws. It's not anywhere close to perfect, but dang if every little thing isn't whined about. lol You sure can go there. SO please fire up a game of control and go play on it.... Oh wait...
