With all the controversies that arose from Destiny 1 gameplay footage stating that "you see that over there you can go there" ( paraphrasing ), when clearly you couldn't? We should all be familiar with this.
Why on earth would Bungie approve of gameplay footage to be released that shows Titans and Warlocks moving in ways that will not be in the final build?
I am very excited to get my hands on Destiny 2, and optimistic for the gameplay changes, But seeing the IGN footage made me question their decision making. Granted all the info on the subject I have gotten from youtube so I may be missing something.
I think Bungie owes the community some insight, if they haven't already given it.
edit:further more nothing i have said isnt anything that is anti bungie it is merely someone who is aware of bungie's past in dealing with revealing destiny contant as a massive game but what is given is a watered down version of what the public gets. and I have questions, and I love bungie and have been playing bungie games well over a decade. all I wanted was more explanation of what was revealed, and it was in the link I provided.

29 RespuestasLook.... you can't have it both ways. ANYTHING THAT YOU SEE PRIOR TO RELEASE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. You can't demand that devs show you the game before its in its final form....and then complain everytime something changes. Bungie never said that there wouldn't be any Titan skating or Warlock blinking. It was CONTENT creators who said Titan-skating was gone (from the reveal build) because it wasn't any faster than running. Not because you couldn't do it. Bungie only confirmed that Blink had been removed from the HUNTERS in the transition to Arcstrider from Arcblade. They said nothing about Warlocks. Don't confuse speculation for fact. Bungie probably went with that old footage because when IGN came to play the game, the Sentinel wasn't ready to be played yet. So they were giving footage from an earlier developer's build. So we at least get a chance to see what the class can do (outside of trailers), even if it isn't in its final form just yet. Even if you play the beta, the game is still likely to have tweaks occur in the 6 weeks from the end of the beta until final release. So just play the beta---and then give Bungie your feedback.

Editado por Gridzzz: 7/17/2017 12:59:44 AMsomeone from ign said that footage is current, thats what we will exp. the may 18 reveal gameplay was slow but that changed and it might change again . 1 RespuestaOff topic, I noticed something strange starting destiny over on my alt account. In Destinys base game there wasn't a sprint cool-down at all (in tdb or HoW). It wasn't until TTK it kicked in that the lock kicked in....why?

8 RespuestasGod anyone watched the anthem trailer and felt it was even more iffy than the reveal for destiny. Hell its third person like when you wield a plasma turret in halo! We see a massive and gorgeous Bakker but they take the only open side path and land in a certain land zone. Then they wrap it up with a powerful probe of loot and calling in some friends. Where have we seen this before?

1 RespuestaVoidwalker still has blink tho right?

Its called bait and switch, welcome to post Halo bungie

Anything to sell more copies...

1 RespuestaBungie told me a lot with their final stamp on the crucible in D1.

1 Respuesta2 things 1- Bungie doesn't owe anyone anything. Although they have been pretty cheap on what they have offered. 2- you would have to be delusional to think you would ever get any kind of real response from a company that lies to their fanbase.

I hope it lives at least somewhat up to your expectations then.

4 RespuestasSomewhere on Twitter it's been confirmed that a) The IGN build is more recent than the E3 build, b) The beta build is more recent than the IGN build, and c) That Titan jump was toned down at some point. Considering that they formally announced today that all sandbox changes aren't final you're being immature.

44 RespuestasSo true, they never stop trying to cheat their player base. They did similar with Year 1 and now doing the exact same. Bungie has serious leadership issues.

1 RespuestaEULA says it all, content is subject to change. Remember that when you get your season pass. Remember what happened in D1. I will wait until after it drops to decide to purchase.

Answer is Simple, Play the Beta, sese how you feel, when the Game Releases, Play the Game...until the final product is out...everything can change

23 RespuestasWhen did they say no more blink or skating? I haven't seen this anywhere except here on the forums. I guess we will find out next week.
