1 RespuestaI don't play it, but overwatch. Or destiny from the amount of hype and preorders itself.

Dark Souls 3 for me

Persona 5. Like it or not, the amount of effort, detail, and love put into the game is something all game developers should follow. Well done, Atlus

5 RespuestasFor me its Persona 5, waited nearly 10 years for that game it did not disapoint.
-
2 RespuestasI haven't loved a game like I loved Persona 5 since, well... uh... Persona 4, I guess.
-
HZD. Absolutely loved it. To be honest though there's a few on the list I still need to go through so it could change. Great game nonetheless.
-
The game I've played the most would be Rocket League. Most of the other games haven't kept me for nearly as long. I'd so Doom was pretty well-made game, though. It terms of quality, probably the top of what I've played.

Editado por Bake8935: 7/14/2017 7:15:18 AMMGSV: TPP is the best game not on that list. It's my number #2 GOTG easily. But yeah, #1 is The Witcher 3. It's possibly my favorite game of all time.

Farmville Simulator(All Years) No debate.
-
Breath of the Wild was an achievement. It warmed my cold, cynical, 2017, Nintendo-hating heart.
-
I'd say BOTW. I think it's going to go down as one of the best Zelda games ever made right alongside the likes of OOT.
-
Breath of the Wild overall, but the best FPS game of this generation would easily be DOOM for me.
-
Horizon Zero Dawn and Witcher 3 are pretty tied for me.
-
The Witcher III, definitely.
-
11 RespuestasDOOM is the one that's constantly on my mind. Beaten that shit like 7 times already just cause it's that fun.
-
2 RespuestasFeel like all the games on the list other than witcher are at a loss because they are exclusive games.

2 RespuestasBarman: Arkham Knight should be on this list. I am not usually into superhero games, but I picked up Batman: Arkham Knight at Christmas on the PSN store, with all DLC for only £15, a steal for sure. There has been an ongoing debate this generation between Batman and the Witcher, over which one has the better combat system. I am playing through both games right now, and I would have to say so far, that Batman has a far superior combat system. Batman has an intuitive combat system that just flows. On the surface it would seem superficial, but anyone who has attempted to get the 'Brutality 101' trophy, will tell you that you need to have encyclopaedic knowledge of combat system to achieve that trophy. In addition to physical attacks, Batman can call on an array of gadget, which can be used in a number of different ways. The Witcher has a great combat system, but it does not flow in the way that it does with Batman. The majority of attacks revolve around a counter system, of sidesteps and dodges. In most combat encounters, I have had to wait for the attack and respond; going on the offensive seems like suicide, more often than not. I do like the finishers though, they are very satisfying. For reference, I am playing Batman on hard, and Witcher on 'Death March' difficulty.

I never got into the Witcher. I never understood why people love Overwatch so much. Besides those to the only other game I played on the list was Uncharted 4 which is a great game so I voted for it. I think it's hard for single player only games to be called Game of the Generation just because, at least in my eyes, they don't last long. What I mean is that I think games with MP have longer lives. I don't think we've really had a game of the Generation game yet. Look at last gen, arguably the best game was GTA V which has still yet to show any signs of dying off. Maybe Red Dead Redemption 2 will be the GotG just because from the rumors I've seen is that it's basically replacing GTA V. If Destiny 2 fixed the issues from Destiny, that could also be the one.
