Starting in August, official Bungie.net Companion Gear Management features will be disabled.

Third-party developers and applications will continue to be able to access the Destiny API and support gear management for Destiny 1.

For people who don't use Twitter at least 3rd party apps will work which I think must people use anyway.

2 RespuestasEditado por DeusFever: 7/13/2017 7:25:11 PMIt's not enough that Destiny 1 is dead. Bungie has to dismember the corpse.

4 Respuestasso im lost been away for awhile till i just got the beta codes. so the companion app wont be used in destiny 2 the same way it was in destiny one?? why? it was easier to change my gear around and switch between accounts more. also i would have my tablet up when i was play on xbox just to keep track and move loot around if i was farming.

1 RespuestaAs long as I can still speak my words of wisdom on how easy mode and toxic hunters are and how terrible destiny 2 is. We good.

5 RespuestasEditado por Soul_Eater_42: 7/13/2017 1:41:34 PMFuck... Guess that means I'll have to switch to that Chrome extension, Destiny Item Manager. That sucks... Update: Just tried out DIM, and it's actually better than the Bungie Item Manager, so I'm sticking with it from now on.

Editado por BIGwillestylz: 7/12/2017 7:10:25 PMIn keeping with Bungie tradition the companion app is broken as -blam!-.

3 RespuestasDim AND Ishtar don't give you in depth info on items ( weapons, armor, etc)
-
2 RespuestasI prefer to take a trip to the tower or reef, i have no need to cycle weapons. Plus you have to go there to get bounties anyway. I just plan ahead
-
Oh well. I use the Destiny app for grimoire, forums, news, and what else. I use the Ishtar app for gear Doesn't affect me that much
-
1 RespuestaNice PSA, thanks! I never go near the Twitter, so this is helpful. I wonder if the Companion app will have any changes for D2 to bring them more in line with DIM and that ilk?
-
2 Respuestasso yet another thing that 3rd party sites do better then Bungie. wonderful

Thanks for the heads up! I use Ishtar Commander, so I guess I'm good!
