I'm gonna say it... I'm really excited for Destiny 2

Despite all this negativity in the forums, I personally can't wait for the release of D2. Destiny, despite all its flaws, is my favorite game to date along with Skyrim. What I don't get is why everyone is shooting this game down before it's even launched. I'm going into D2 open minded. I don't necessarily like all the changes but I'm not gonna determine whether or not I buy the game based on permanent rolls on a gun and on the feedback of a few Youtubers. It's almost like you some of you want to see this game fail. I certainly don't. I'm gonna determine whether or not I like this game by playing the Beta and release. Hope some agree with me. See you in Destiny 2 guardians. Edit: I'm staying in a hotel right now and I saw someone with a Destiny shirt and I pointed it out. They told me how they were there for a clan meet. We talked about how excited we were for D2. Awesome experience to see fellow Destiny fans. Just thought some of you would enjoy this.

Glad to hear! Despite me deciding against purchasing D2. I am not going to bash folks who are excited. Like many games it simply is not for everyone. Everything has pros & cons. D2. Is just too PVP aligned for me. Like CoD & Battlefield; there maybe a campaign but the focus is on PVP which just isn't my cup of tea. But I know many folks who do enjoy PVP & are loving the D2 news. The IGN First PVP vids pretty much sold them on D2. I hope you enjoy D2! Edit: Since some are taking my PVP remark somewhat out of context. The bulk of D2 changes have been 100% PVP driven. ALOT of focus has gone into PVP. The IGN reveals shows that gloriously. There is 100% NOTHING wrong with that. PVP deserves just as much focus as PVE. But the changes made for PVP dictate PVE gameplay & limit PVE. So it's obvious that one mode plays second fiddle rather than be equal. And it is very apparent that D2 is being marketed/aimed at PVP gamers. Once again...NOTHING is wrong with that. Bungie can aim the game where they please. It is their gane Overwatch has very rich Lore, but it is a PVP game & Blizzard committed to that. Many want Overwatch PVE but it isn't is Blizzard's plans. Thus far despite the PVE news, the game has been aimed/designed from the ground up for PVP. Bungie is aiming for that demograph. Like with Overwatch...there is no harm in that. The bulk of the IGN Reveal schedule is aimed at PVP; so the writing is on the walls folks. Destiny 1 came across as a massive PVE game, but we all saw what we got... So be careful not to put all your eggs in 1 basket. Yes, they say D2 has more cutscenes than D1 & its expansions. (That isn't very many at all if you count D1 cutscenes.) Anyways, my post was meant to support the OP & state how I am happy for him/her despite my reasons for passing on D2.
