Luke Smith presents a new restriction
Lol a video on the vision of destiny and another slide in from Luke. Loadouts will now be locked in activities without the option to switch. Add this to all weapons having static loadouts, no grimoire, 4 man PvP. This should be called destiny 0.5. Instead of adding to the game they just ripping it apart. All player freedom one update after the next

I would like a pvp match type that makes you choose 1 gun for each slot and one class to go in with, or even a game type that just gives you random weapons to use and you have to use what you get and cant change it.

1 RespuestaI'm fine with a locked loadout entering an activity. I've seen too many assplows swap out primaries in a PvP match (had one guy swap HC 3 times before he settled on his Palindrome). -blam!- them, you use what you roll in with. You had up until the landing screen to swap out. After that is settled.

SOME activities. It's no different from what we do now. Most times I avoid switching weapons due to losing ammo. Especially heavy.

3 RespuestasI think it's a great idea. It's adds a added sense of difficulty. I'm fairly sure it won't be for every activity, something reserved for only the hardest end game stuff. Heroic end game content should be heroic and worthy of the challenge. Not something you can breeze through in the matter on 30mins. It will mean groups have to play smart, bring the right tools and, once completed, bring that sense of achievement back to completing heroic end game content. Strikes, patrols, most PVP surely won't be load out locked. That will be reserved for night falls, trials, heroic raids and certain missions. People moan that it's not hard enough, bungie caters for the masses, they add in some fresh new way to ramp up difficulty and you loose your mind! It needs to be hard, it needs to be balanced, it needs new ideas on how to keep it fresh, exciting and tough.

Probably bounty type events. Like in year one when you had to get fusion rifle multi kills. So certain bounties may mean completing strikes (whatever) with a set loadout.

You do realise it's ok to not like things they are doing with this game and, shock horror, devs ain't always right!! Yes, we should all wait until we see how this works in the game but seriously there are a few things coming out about D2 that really make me slightly uneasy about its direction and this is one of them. Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan. Shit I'm buying a PS pro and a 4K tv for the launch of this game. I'm all in but I still have the right to be apprehensive about the decisions they are making. Remember someone once decided that purples could decode as blues. Just saying.

2 RespuestasWhen this companies Sandbox starts nerfing the most popular weapons in this game and once again calling it "rotation" Will see how much these gamers that like the Idea really like having set weapons. It's interesting to see how things easily slip from some peoples minds. This company never really liked the fact that gamers weren't using certain weapons that they created. So they went on a rampage of nerfing everything. So y2 and y3 they took care of that by nerfing everything in this game for over 2 years straight. Hell, why not. How else were they going to get Gamers to use weapons that had less of a value... [spoiler]It's not like they had other options other then nerfing everything right?[/spoiler] This is where a lot of gamers are not seeing the issues of having set weapons because the most popular and what gives you the best results is going to be used a lot more in these set events.

Or will we be stuck with what we first chose in terms of our own loadouts? And as to what activities will be "locked"? Edit: Nevermind. Google is my friend.
