How we're you let down by FFXV?

I am not a fan of the new combat system, the only one of the 4 bros I liked was Ignis, the later half of the game became a slog, the original music for the game was "mostly" forgettable. And the final and most important nail in FF XVs coffin, not being able to spend more time with Aranea. The game isn't bad, I almost got all the acheesements, but it was disappointing to me, as someone who misses the ATB system.
