Pro tip:
How about you play the god dang game before passing judgement? So many things could throw a wrench in your logic. Sooooo many things. New nodes released with every major expansion. Several selectable powers on every exotics. Flat out more exotics with game changing perks than D1. All of those things would completely negate your worries and that's the first three ideas to immediately come to mind.
Your topic should be titled Why destiny 2's subclass nodes could potentially hurt the game. Anything more than that is just sensationalist crap.

1. We know they aren't gonna add more nodes with dlc. They already went this far too limit them, and pretty much every other thing in the game 2. I already said why having it on gear is a bad thing. It makes metas that much worse 3. Look at what we have seen exotic wise, a wanna be fatebringer, 1/8th a zhalo supercell that only activates when you get shot, and a shitty minigun Pro tip: how bout you play the damn game before you are so quick to defend it? I should be able to speak on the game as long as others are as well. You want me to hold my tounge? Then you should too

Great! So... we can all agree that NO ONE can be sure of anything before playing the game! Hence, you should change the thread title as stated. That sounds much too definitive for someone who should wait and play the game before making any early calls.

I own the right to criticism As a fan of the game. I own that right
-
And I don't question that right or the fact that this forum represents the best place to voice your concerns. What bugs me is the fact that you're so adamant about your opinion while it is based on incomplete facts and partial information.

We know what the core of the game is like. That's a big chunk of the game
-
Doesn't change the fact that we don't have enough pieces of the puzzle to be absolutely sure of anything.
-
Notice how I'm not referring to any of the missing ones like lost sectors and the raid
-
Granted, but they aren't likely to impact the actual weapon systems or loot collection. But even then, we are still missing several key pieces of the puzzle when it come to the weapon systems and customization. It simply is too soon to tell, there's just no going around that fact.
