Destiny and bungie are piss poor at managing projects. Destiny 2 is gonna be a crap fest. It will be a game that you play for 8 hours and then you'll be like oh I already played this game for the last three years, but now it's crappier. Trust me start looking for a your fun in other games coming out. Tons of games coming in the next year that will blow destiny outta the water!

If ya haven't figured it out yet, your judgement skills are sorely lacking if you're passing judgement on something before it is even available.

Editado por ccSPiTFiRΞ: 7/3/2017 6:43:14 AMFor me Destiny is 40% about the game & 60% about the friends, so I won't be disappointed.
But I am looking forward to Red Dead Redemption 2, Anthem, The Last of Us 2 & God of War!
Yeah yeah

49 RespuestasWow. Awesome insight. How much have you played D2?

I know Destiny 2 is going to disappoint a lot of people, but at least it's going to have a lot of players in the beginning and hold strong for a while. Other loot-based shooters aren't so fortunate and just fizzle out shortly after launch.

Can I use your time machine?

15 RespuestasEditado por FairlySplendid: 7/1/2017 5:03:36 PMWhen it comes to my general D2 outlook, I'll post something I've posted a couple times on Reddit: At some point, "staunch" naysayers have to stop and realize that they are being "that guy". The one that shows up before the release of every video game to tell us how they are underwhelmed and upset about X, Y and Z. At some point, you have to be self-aware enough to realize that you are probably overthinking some things, undervaluing and/or dismissing others, being nostalgic in some respects and nitpicking in others respects. While, yes, we absolutely need to stay on top of Bungie, to give us the best possible product, many of the criticisms I'm seeing are premature. Based on limited information, a whole lot of assumptions and a unhealthy dose of speculation. What we are really looking for in D2, that "feeling", will be there. Bungie still knows how to trap lighting in a bottle. They still know that recipe for the secret sauce that makes playing their games a joy. 30 Seconds of Fun Mantra etc.... IMHO, their are too many players out there in the community simply standing in the way of their own good time. It's a video game. Bungie makes great video games. Every game we play doesn't need to be the second coming of Christ, for us to enjoy it and find pleasure in it. Gamers are losing perspective on why we play video games and, at-its-core, why we play Bungie games. Call it D1 fatigue, call it the hype-roller-coaster, call it gaming industry frustration, call it nostalgia, call it whatever you like.... It's skewing viewpoints. At this point, people are subconsciously looking for reasons to be disappointed. On some level, gamers are simultaneously wanting nothing to change and EVERYTHING to change. Those expectations will never be met. How many times has this community (particularly this forum) been guilty of overreacting, dismissing, misunderstanding and/or making false assumptions about some aspect of Destiny. Only to discover their line of reasoning was flawed, later on down the road? Rhetorical question. I'm not here to debate or argue with anyone entrenched in their opinion, just here to say my peace.

you should write for website such an elegante piece
-
Why are you trying to force your opinions on people? Are you insecure?
-
Why are you on the feedback forums if you aren't going to buy the game and don't play this game now? Genuinely curious.
-
What are you going to play ? Suggestions ......

Editado por ironBill: 7/1/2017 5:01:40 PMYou know what... play it or don't. Like it or don't. It is what it is. I'm all for debate - I love a good back-and-forth as much as the next guy. I'm all for free speech and the right have an opinion. That's not what this is. We have looked at the game through a very small window, and other than a few people who've spent 30 minutes here, 10 minutes there, none of us know how all the pieces fit together. I can understand being critical of announced decisions or concerns about game design choices, but dang, none of us are going to be able to form a real opinion about it until we play extended periods of time. It may truly suck. It may be just okay. It may be great. Nobody knows yet. Personally I'm going in with much lower expectations than I did with D1 and choose to look at this as a completely different game. I want to see how the pieces fit together, where the play leads me, most importantly, how Bungie reacts to feedback. That is going to take time. This post isn't pro or con Bungie - I'm trying to be a reasonable adult and keep an open mind. I'd suggest chilling a bit so you can make the rational choice of joining in or moving on. If you feel strongly against the project already I might suggest the latter.

You know you guys have said this for the last three years...and you have been wrong. There is a game coming that will finally kill Destiny, it's Destiny 2.
Destiny and bungie are piss poor at managing projects
Oh really! You don't say! They have amazing PR, though. I mean, look at Luke Smith! His words always seem to come true.
