Bungie have highly optimised fully scalable PC code for D2. Multiple non Microsoft developers have confirmed that X1X is doing amazing things with PC code in terms of port speed and raw performance.
The X1X deserves to run the PC code.

The X1X has an anemic CPU though.

Editado por xI Vorpal Ix: 6/28/2017 2:44:46 AMSo how is it running Titan fall 2 at 6K 60 you can't do that with a garbage CPU. The Pro is Dynamic resolution up to 1440p on this title. Miles away from 4K let alone 6K We will see what PC's can run Forza 7 at 4K 60, SOW 4K 30, Doom 4K 60 and Titanfall2 4K 60 all high - Ultra settings soon enough. We will know exactly the Minimum CPU needed to run all of these games at those benchmarks and people are going to be found out. There is no excuse on this planet that 60 FPS can't be achieved with 4v4 multiplayer and smaller maps. Look at gear of war 4, if the PVE is so damn demanding don't handicap PVP.
Look at gear of war 4, if the PVE is so damn demanding don't handicap PVP.
Except PvE is the whole reason this game even exists.
-
Nope it's the combination of both. No other game is offering both on consoles
-
This game exists bc they wanted to create a PvE experience. They threw crucible in as an extra thing to do not counting on the sweaty try hards to pick up the game specifically for crucible. Maybe now it offers both. But this whole game was created for PvE.

Editado por xI Vorpal Ix: 6/30/2017 4:02:19 AMRight right.... So theres no correlation between the Monthly total player count when Iron banner and trials is available.. Get real. PVP keeps people coming back just as much as PVE and when the PVE content is dry, like now, PVP is a much bigger group. Without PVP this game would have died like division 1st month because the content was avg. You can't have one without the other and your ragging something thats HELPED carry this game.

Lets try this one more time. I am not talking about how popular this game is now or how many people play PvP now. This game was created at its very beginning with PvE as its primary focus.

Titanfall 2 doesn't run at 6K/60FPS all the time. At some point it got up to 6K, but it can go down to 1080p if necessary. Source Also interesting:
This does not mean the game is always 60 hz, as there are points in the game where we are not GPU limited (or we are GPU limited, but the lower bound isn't low enough to maintain 60 hz - try getting a dozen Scorch Titans all throwing incendiary traps in one spot :P). In instances where we are CPU bound, we actually increase resolution until we become GPU bound. Keep that GPU pumping!
Clever trick. But even TF2 can get -blam!-ed up by the CPU. Resolution has nothing to do with CPU.

Editado por xI Vorpal Ix: 6/28/2017 4:18:38 AMI understand Dynamic Resolution games. You say that resolution has nothing to do with CPU so why does the res drop to maintain the Frames per second? Frames per second is CPU based as well. FPS and Res in dynamic resolution games is maintained by both CPU and GPU. In Destiny 2 we will see PC's with lesser spec CPU's and GPU's than the X1X run this game at 1080p 60fps low - med settings for example. I bet you that same PC woul'nt have a sht show of running Forza 7 Native 4K 60 FPS locked or Shadow of War at 4K 30 locked using the same X1X high - ultra settings.
You say that resolution has nothing to do with CPU so why does the res drop to maintain the Frames per second?
Because the GPU is still doing work.

Editado por xI Vorpal Ix: 6/28/2017 4:23:57 AMWhat if there's a crazy action scene that has physics and explosions large amount of poly's the dynamic Res is dropped to take pressure off the CPU as well. Hence CPU is tied to Resolution. I understand that Res is more GPU bound but to say it's not CPU related at all is completely BS.
