Think about it: MW and Blops 1/2 gave amazing characters and story. Blops 3, AW, Ghosts, Infinite Borefare are all crap. Let Raven do it. Tho I get there isn't much they can really do now. Blops is dead, MW finished and we DO NOT want more IW, AW or Ghosts. Let them die.

I can understand that people like the new CoDs. I'm just saying in their attempts to do somthing new, it has made something that isn't that great. I mean, when people died in the older CoDs in the story, say Gaz or Soap or Ghost, I felt bad and I liked those characters. In say, Blops 3, people were dead before I could care about them in the slightest and even then, the betrayal near the end didn't even faze me. Cuz the story is the same now: you work for important dude and kill terrorists; terrorists are dead and the dude you work for has ultimate power; the dude you work for is a bad guy; you kill hundreds to get to and kill said bad guy. Basically, I like older CoDs and their style

I think those hit harder just because they were the first to do it. The stories are good, it just suffered from being a yearly series. It's over saturated. Plenty of other games have similar things but they hit harder because they aren't yearly series.
