"I was just going to jump down. It's more of a thrill, y'know?"
She giggled and stood next to the ramp.
"Thanks anyways."
English
-
Cannon laughed and walked down to the ramp. "Suite yourself. Want to race down?"
-
"All I can do is fall, but sure." Traci casually walked off the edge, plummeting towards the ground in an instant.
-
Cannon jumped after her, diving. His heavy armor pulled him down quickly.
-
She just let herself fall into a dive, her smaller frame allowing her to fall much faster. She laughed as she fell, loving the feeling of the wind against her hair.
-
Cannon pulled up with his jetpack at the last second, hitting the ground and rolling. He sprayed sand everywhere and landed on his back, laughing. "Forgot how much fun that is..."
-
Traci flipped at the last second so her feet hit the ground. She made a small crater when she landed, but she stepped out of it with a smile and without a scratch. "Yeah, it is fun."
-
Cannon stood up. "Tumbling is more fun." They were in the canyon where the village once was... But there was no sign of it. Just sand.
-
"Yeah, but I get to look like a superhero when I do that. Superhero landings are the best by far." She looked around at all of the sand, confused. "So....Where's the village?"
-
"Gone. Dissapeared while I was off at the war with the Coulbours." He looked around them. All that was left were the outlines of buildings in the sand.
-
"Huh....That's weird." She stayed close to her father, waiting for him to do something.
-
"If what that man said is true... We may have a lead on where they went. He said Deathwatch. I thought the Deathwatch was gone." He walked towards the remains of Shames' house.
-
Traci followed.
Honestly can't do anything more than a one liner because of how this is going lol
-
Luckily, it's about to speed up.
Watch out, the danger is close... Came the ghost voice in her ear as Cannon stepped into a circle that showed where the house walls were.
-
"You could just be way more specific instead of vague as hell and make there be less of a risk." She whispered quietly.
-
You think I remember exactly what happened? I stepped in that circle and everything went dark. Cannon stepped into the circle, looking around.
-
"Could've told me before I let you walk into that circle..." Traci sighed and face-palmed.
-
Look, I'm kinda new to the whole time travel ghost osik, alright? The ground shook and Cannon dissapeared as the ground seemed to suck him under the sand.
-
"Well f*ck....FATHER?!" Traci ran forward, but stopped at the edge of the circle. "Father?"
-
The sand closed over him, leaving no trace. Kriff... Find a way down there! The Ghost sounded panicked.
-
"You telling me you want me to follow?! That's probably the worst idea...." Traci hopped into the circle. "Eh. Never been too good with ideas."
-
I'd rather not spend eternity watching you feel guilty about my death, so yes. Besides, you're a tank aren't you? The sand began to open up.
-
"I'm considered a damage dealer if I remember correctly. Very few tanks were made because of their high cost in comparison and the risk of something as unstoppable as the tanks they could make getting loose....I should stop lecturing." She waited until she fell through.
-
Interesting. The sand opened and she fell in, finding herself caught in a suffocating sea of sand.
-
Luckily, she didn't exactly have to breath. She tried to move and look around.
-
She was unable to. The sand finally fell away and she landed in a pool of water knee deep. It smelled like death. The room was far too dark to see, and it's shadows seemed to close in as if trying to suffocate her.
