Been thinking lately, with all that's come out, will a substantial amount of players be actually playing destiny 2 on Xbox one? Or will you find you end up seeing the same people in the crucible on a too common basis.
The main reason I think this is because of the PC launch. I've seen many people switching to PC because it runs slightly better. My question is why? You've spent 3 years building your journey through this game, and although I know in the context of destiny 2 your past progress means nothing. But I just think it's sad to see a great Xbox community being broken apart just because the game now runs slightly better on a different platform. What really confuses me is people who don't even have a PC in the first place, and are going out and buying brand new PC's for this game, what's the point when you can just pay £40 or $60 dollars and get the same experience?
Obviously there is the usual factor of stupid PS exclusives, which I don't think anyone really sees the point of anymore. But also there is the launch of anthem, a game that looks brilliant. Not only will people flock to that game, I would imagine most Xbox people will, and will become the 'Xbox version of destiny'.
Maybe I'm just being stupid, but I really fear for the future of the Xbox destiny community. Rant over.

Anthem is not a xbox exclusive so all platforms will potentially suffer from its release.

People don't shell out for a gaming PC for one game. It mostly caters to current PC users, bringing them into the Destiny community. Console users have a console for convenience and gaming experience. Once you start PC gaming you'll be upgrading that thing every year, just because you could. P.S. Why isn't anyone mentioning the DRM hassle in PC gaming? (V) (;,,;) (V) wubwubwubwubwub!

1 RespuestaConsole segregation is the worst thing ever...why not play all together? Having cross-platform Ps and Xbox?

What I really like is how Bungie will nerf D2 to only run at 30fps on Xbox One X. Of course Destiny is better on PS, Sony pays for it to be. Not sure why anyone on Xbox would still support Bungie anymore. They don't care about us, why should we care about them. Roger, just shut up and give Bungie your money. Sure, they won't invest in you, but that doesn't you shouldn't invest in them.

I'm not sure what Anthem has to do with D2 being dead on XBox. It releases next fall.

Xbox is treated like trash. Anthem does look kewl but it may not be that good or re-playable. If you build a gaming pc there is a lot more games to play, so you wouldn't care about Destiny much.

You're just over thinking. Yes a lot of players will be migrating, however a lot of players will be returning as well.
