"Yes, there are lots of other places..."
Steven's voice was slightly distracted now as he kept looking at the energy flow, attempting to learn what it is.

The energy seemed...confused, almost as if it were alive. It had no pattern, but instead a more organic feel. "Have you been to those places? Is that where you come from?"
-
"Yes, I am. And yes, there are. Many placess in fact. More than I could count." He turned his attention back to his companion. "What should I call you?"
-
The being stared down in confusion before shrugging. "I do not know. Do I have a name? Maybe I don't have one."
-
"Well... I wouldn't know. I am fairly certain this is the first time we've met... I wish I knew how I arrived here."
-
"Do you wish to know how you got here so you can leave? Do I bore you? I'm sorry." The figure bows its head apologetically.
-
"You don't bore me. It's just a tad unnerving to suddenly wake up and have no idea where one is." He tried for a reassuring smile. "It's a tad disorienting."
-
"You're smiling." It looks back up. "You're happy to be disoriented? Smiling is used to express happiness, right?"
-
"I was attempting to be reassuring. And this wouldn't be the first time I've been disoriented. Once back on the Infinitum I lost my memory... But that's a long story. Anyways, do you know how I got here?"
-
"I do not know. Did you not walk here? Maybe you teleported? I'm sorry, but I can only guess." The figure's joints whirred and made cracking noises as it rolled one of its shoulders.
-
"Well... I think teleporting would make sense. I was unconscious after all. He thought for a moment, then cocked his head. "Does your shoulder usually make sounds like that? It sounds mechanical."
-
"Yes, all the time. All of my joints do." It stopped and rested its arm once more before slowly raising its wings which were surprisingly silent. "My wings don't though."

-
"I believe I'm mostly made of metal." His scans stopped dead at the figure for some reason, giving no info.
-
"Odd, I can't scan you. That's a first, I've never been unable to scan something before." He appeared troubled by that. "Save for once."
-
"Oh? Scan me? I wonder why not. What was the other time?" The being just kept sounding curious and slightly eccentric.
-
"Last time something resisted my scans... Well, it didn't end well. But that was almsot half a million years ago, during the war, so it's likely unrelated to you." He he tried to cover up his troubled expression.
-
The thing was clearly not able to detect his troubled expression. "Oh. A war? Do you believe I might be meant for war? I don't know my purpose and I hope to find it soon."
-
Steven looked closely at his companion, attempting to learn what he could have been used for. "Well... If I had to guess I'd say war would make sense. If someone made you, it looks like they purposely made you to appear intimidating."
-
The being was obviously made to be intimidating with all the jagged edges and its tattered cape had what appeared to be cut and burn marks on it. "Do you think I am a killer? Is that my purpose? To take the life of others? To make others fear me? To hate me? To run away screaming?"
-
"Hard to say. You were obviously meant to be scarry... But since I can't really see you all that well I can't tell much else."
-
"Oh..." It now sounds a tad sad from hearing that. "Thank you for saying I look scary at least. Now I know a little more about myself."
-
"You're welcome. I'm sorry I can't give you much more detail... But I don't see like a normal being. I see energy currents, and you're currently look like a giant dark silhouette because I can't see your energy." He apologized sincerely.
-
"It's okay. It's not your fault I'm made this way. Thank you for your time." It bowed respectfully for a second before sitting back up. "Do you wish to leave?"
-
"I would like to, yes. It was nice meeting you, I hope to see you again."
-
"I hope to meet you again too. I have reason to believe if you simply walk away from me and wish to leave that you will. Not sure why, but I have a feeling."
