With 3 out of the 4 things in this list being related to them? They're really making the gaming community worse keeping exclusivity. Microsoft has made strides with PC and would gladly have cross platform with PlayStation but nope... http://www.dorkly.com/post/83744/executives-are-dumb
Y'all still supporting Sony?
Yes. 😁
Microsoft has made strides with themselves
*fixed.

11 RespuestasYes. You do realize that Microsoft makes the WINDOWS operating system that almost every PC uses, right? I'm not buying Phil Specter's "altruism" act. Crossplatform play ONLY benefits gamers....and MICROSOFT. Because it leverages Microsofts advantages, and neutralizes the problems associated with owning an Xbox 1 and the fact that MS is getting its clock cleaned by Sony. OTOH, Sony has a HUGE install base right now compared to Microsoft, so their customers (and their company) stand little to gain by allowing it. In fact, they'd be giving away one of their major advantages over Microsoft. ...and no intelligent CEO is going to do that.

3 RespuestasLook at all the ponies!! And you got them to all line up and snort and blow!! Good job!

I'd honestly love cross play because I have friends who have a PS4 but I absolutely hate mine. If it weren't for the fact it's owned by the whole family, I would have already sold it and put the money into a beefier PC.
-
I'd love PS4/Xbox crossplay. One big online community would awesome.
-
Sony 4K? More like Phoney 4k!

2 RespuestasMy last playstation was a playstation 2 I stopped buying anything Sony at that point because of personal experience with the Company. they have done just fine without me. lol Good for them!
-
No games I have on the PS4 require cross platform and with the one or two games that can have it, I don't think I would play with them much anyway.
With 3 out of the 4 things in this list being related to them? They're really making the gaming community worse keeping exclusivity. +++they are dominating the console market. Of course they are going to have more exclusives. Plus, sony exclusives have an expectation attached to them that can seriously help a dev. When the average consumer thinks of sony exclusives they think quality. Xbox did the same thing a majority of the last generation and I guarantee they'd be doing it now if they were on top. Microsoft has made strides with PC +++it's not that difficult to link up an xbox with a pc considering Microsoft has a monopoly on the pc market. If they were truly "for the consumer" then they would have made these strides long ago. and would gladly have cross platform with PlayStation but nope. +++they would have gladly done it because it would have taken sony out if the competition and it would have essentially cemented xbox as being the biggest company in gaming. They aren't doing this for the gamer. They are doing it to hurt sony and line their pockets. Only difference between sony and xbox is that sony is helping the consumer in the long term as opposed to throwing shit in their eyes like Microsoft.
Its easy to cross play when you own both of them (windows and xbox).
-
Honestly, I'd love to have crossplay partly to play with friends on Xbone but mostly because I'd be able to buy a game once. Take Minecraft as an example, I'd trade in the Xbone version if it was crossplay with PS4. As far as exclusives go that's down to devs and the console owner, I understand that and personally don't hold it against them.

No, they are an anti consumer customer company that's failing. Good riddance
Peace is a lie. There is only Passion. Through Passion I gain Strength. Through Strength I gain Power. Through Power I gain Victory. Through Victory my chains are Broken.
11 RespuestasEditado por renots6: 6/17/2017 1:56:52 AMThis again lol. I've said time and time again and even have put a link up. PS3 tried it. Xbox said no. The smaller system always wants cross play. And yes Microsoft wants cross play with PC. They make PC lol. They wouldn't want to if there's no money in it. This makes the point even more that what's the point for a Xbox? If you have PC and PS you have everything. Xbox still uses dynamic on most games just like the pro. I can guarantee you the one x will not sell well. Especially when next gen is 2 years away.

I haven't owned a Sony product since the PS1, so.. No.
-
The 60 mil owners will also continue to support them lol
-
2 RespuestasYeah. Can hardly blame Sony for doing what's best for them.
-
Lol, does everyone forget that the most common operating system for computers is Microsoft Windows? Microsoft sharing with Pc is no different than giving yourself a cookie, especially when you own the whole damn bakery.
-
Always 👍😀🏆

1 RespuestaYep. And I will continue to do so.

1 RespuestaNope. Selling my PlayStation as I type this
They're really making the gaming community worse keeping exclusivity.
They invest heavily in devs. Yes
Microsoft has made strides with PC
They brought there console exclusives to PC. Yes
would gladly have cross platform with PlayStation but nope...
For Minecraft? PC/PS crossplay is common place, Xbox/PS. No

The cross play bullshit is very annoying. But exclusives are fine. And considering MS has it's own market place in the pc realm i don't think they should get points for being active there. It's -blam!-ing Microsoft they came from pc, shit they've been in the pc industry since the very beginning. It's not like they're doing this for the gamers. And its pretty hard not to notice that this exclusives are bad crap started when MS has been shutting down their first party studios and canceling all their major exclusives. Didn't hear any of that talk when Halo was strong, or Gears, or Fable. No only recently when Xbox has become almost entirely void of good exclusives.
