"A riddle is like a question, but meant to confuse the person who it's asked to. It makes a fun game."
He cocked his head.
"You... Don't have your memory?"
English
-
"Memory of what? Have we met before?" The figure cocked its head to the side as well.
-
"No, unless it was more than seven thousand years ago, but you seem... Odd. Either you come from an odd culture, or you have little memory."
-
"Odd? How am I odd? What does it mean to be odd?" The thing shot out questions quickly.
-
"It means to be different. Strange. Unusual. Not normal. You didn't know what a riddle was, which was odd because almost everyone I've met has." Steven looked around at their surroundings for more detail.
-
The surroundings somehow still appeared to be heavily blurred. "Oh. So, I am not normal then. Well, now that I know I'm normal, right?"
-
"Well, it's a start." He shrugged. "Where are we, anyways? Is this a mindscape?"
-
"Mindscape? Like, something in someone's mind? I do not know, but that's a good guess." The figure looked around.
-
"How long have you been here? Do you want to leave?" He was a bit worried as to where they were now.
-
"I've been here for an unknown amount of time and how would I leave? Where would I go? I've only known this place and no others."
-
"Good point... I wonder where here is." Steven attempted to sense if tgere was anything odd, energy readings and the like.
-
A strange, unknown energy surrounded the two. "Are there other places?"
-
"Yes, there are lots of other places..." Steven's voice was slightly distracted now as he kept looking at the energy flow, attempting to learn what it is.
-
The energy seemed...confused, almost as if it were alive. It had no pattern, but instead a more organic feel. "Have you been to those places? Is that where you come from?"
-
"Yes, I am. And yes, there are. Many placess in fact. More than I could count." He turned his attention back to his companion. "What should I call you?"
-
The being stared down in confusion before shrugging. "I do not know. Do I have a name? Maybe I don't have one."
-
"Well... I wouldn't know. I am fairly certain this is the first time we've met... I wish I knew how I arrived here."
-
"Do you wish to know how you got here so you can leave? Do I bore you? I'm sorry." The figure bows its head apologetically.
-
"You don't bore me. It's just a tad unnerving to suddenly wake up and have no idea where one is." He tried for a reassuring smile. "It's a tad disorienting."
-
"You're smiling." It looks back up. "You're happy to be disoriented? Smiling is used to express happiness, right?"
-
"I was attempting to be reassuring. And this wouldn't be the first time I've been disoriented. Once back on the Infinitum I lost my memory... But that's a long story. Anyways, do you know how I got here?"
-
"I do not know. Did you not walk here? Maybe you teleported? I'm sorry, but I can only guess." The figure's joints whirred and made cracking noises as it rolled one of its shoulders.
-
"Well... I think teleporting would make sense. I was unconscious after all. He thought for a moment, then cocked his head. "Does your shoulder usually make sounds like that? It sounds mechanical."
-
"Yes, all the time. All of my joints do." It stopped and rested its arm once more before slowly raising its wings which were surprisingly silent. "My wings don't though."
-
Editado por Cannon011: 6/17/2017 5:41:47 AM"Makes sense I suppose, you appear be mechanical." He attempted to scan him, since he could see in energy currents.
-
"I believe I'm mostly made of metal." His scans stopped dead at the figure for some reason, giving no info.
