-Descope snipers when hit (PVP ONLY)
-Remove rifled barrel from shotguns and rebalance archetypes (the higher the impact the lower the base range)
-Decrease sidearm damage and effective range
-Increase FR bolt speed and "magnetism" to improve consistency

I'll agree on snipers although I'd add that aim assist should probably be lowered a bit as well. Shotguns will be annoying no matter what range they have because unless you are using one there's no consistent way of dealing with them, as long as someone can tank your shots and get close enough you'll lose the fight. Only thing they should do with side arms is reduce their magazine size and increase their reload; this would mean they'd still be good when you have ammo but you'd only ever spawn into a match with enough ammo for a single kill before you need to get to an ammo crate. Fusions are still the most balanced special as far as I am concerned since they take a bit more skill than the rest and their charge rate makes you incredibly vulnerable. If anything I'd say removing hidden hand from fusions perk pools might be a good idea though.

Dont add magnetism to FRs wtf? LEAVE FUSIONS ALONE GOD DAMN.

Yeah you're right, they are consistent and in a good place.

sounds good, except for sidearms, you're only considering the "wormwood" archtype if you decrease damage on sidearms, you will have to hit nothing but headshots on the teacup tempest to win a gunfight and for zeal-factor type sidearms, you will literally have to empty the ENTIRE clip and not miss a single shot to win a gunfight sidearms are just poorly made weapons, they should be removed from the game altogether, never should have had them, they are just overpowered handcannons, and at this point, they have more damage and range than The Last Word

the fact that sidearms can regularly outshoot pulse rifles in mid-long range engagements made me really wonder if bungie plays their game in the "wild"

In the hours that follow updates I always wonder if Bungie even play tests their game in private these days...
