MyNameIsByf just uploaded a video covering the Arcstrider subclass.
My thoughts: Arcstrider is not a reskinned Bladedancer. It is an evolved one, with more control and abilities that have really amazing synergy. Arc Staff with the perk of taking less damage is very thematic and sounds nicely implemented.
No Blink, but speed is still the key. Gotta go fast, amirite?

1 RespuestaNo invisibility 👎🏼 Hopefully the Arc Strider is a bit more robust than the Blade Dancer currently is.
-
5 RespuestasSo sad to see Blink go... But otherwise very happy with this subclass.
-
1 RespuestaStaff is lame. Give me more knives! Or swords! Anything sharp, just not a staff-spear!
-
4 RespuestasLol fan boys are so sad, you'll believe anything bungie says meanwhile any one with more than 2 brain cells knows it's all just reskins. You're all tools just throwing money at the screen like they themselves have told you u will do.
-
1 RespuestaWhy would the Bladedancer "evolve" out of blink? That's the only effective method to dodge everyone else's supers...
-
1 RespuestaEditado por Iron Wu: 6/13/2017 5:57:20 PMI feel very let down with Bungie and what they are doing to Hunters. Yet I will still main one and hope that they get buffed at some point.
-
2 RespuestasI hope that force push they do has razor's edge range.
-
2 RespuestasAlso, has anyone tried dodging in the air?
-
No invisibility either for the hunter: https://youtu.be/FyHgyQpbw6Q

1 RespuestaI was hoping for a scythe as the weapon lol But agility is key for any hunter lol ~TheGreatNike
-
1 RespuestaI was hoping for different abilities for the class abilities. Arcstrider's use of the melee dodge looks great, but I was hoping for something that was more befitting of the subclass like a blink dodge.
-
1 RespuestaStill...evolved or not....I am disappointed by the skill sets. I guess a lot depends on its viability in PvE as well as how smooth it plays when I eventually get to play it. Overall though I find the subclasses and their rehashed ("evolved") versions entirely undeewhelming. It is more of the same and feels like a missed opportunity to create new subclasses entirely.
-
17 RespuestasEvolved bladedancer - not a brand new subclass like warlocks and titans got. Disappointing tbh
-
10 RespuestasYoure right its not a reskinned blade dancer its a reskinned blade dancer + a staff.
-
8 RespuestasYes, makes perfect sense to have a melee based subclass for the class with the least about of armor. Oh and you got rid of invisibility too? Brilliant.
-
5 RespuestasHere's hoping it's good in PvE. The may perks say otherwise but one can hope (also hoping Nightstalker comes back)
-
I for one am definitely liking the Arcstrider's perks. I look forward to the gameplay.
-
8 RespuestasSo far I like this subclass. I do hope it has invisibility like Bladedancer; that ability has saved my bacon so many times in PvE.
-
3 RespuestasI agree with the fact that arctrider is an evolved blade dancer.I just wish that some perks could be added or replaced to make the subclass more enjoyable to play. For example you can have the ability to throw the spear although that would be really similar to hammer of sol.
-
1 RespuestaStill waiting for a full skill list and someone's hands on opinion but I think it is strange the invisibility perks are not listed. Invisibility was one of the few reasons Bladedancer was any good outside of PvP so you could run around reviving teammates.

Hunters will be so frabjous now with our energy staffs
