Personally I believe the final boss in Destiny should be a guardian corrupted by the darkness kind of its champion or physical embodiment
What are your thoughts

I agree with you completely a guardian corrupted by darkness should have been a perfect idea for destiny 1 final boss. But what class would it be hunter.warlock.titan? Or would it be a mixture of all three? Or maybe a entire new class revolving around darkness? And how would you defeat the guardian do you get the option of cleansing the guardian and returning it to the light or executing it?

1 RespuestaCrucible Lag It's a full raid until the boss, then it's FFA PvP. No one can be damaged, and when you shoot your gun, it has a 1/1,000,000% chance to insta kill someone else, and a 999,999/1,000,000% chance to kill yourself. And then Variks comes into the game and shout SYLOK THE DEFILED, or KEKSIS THE BETRAYED, insta wiping your team, and making you go the start of the raid. Rinse and repeat 10 times to actually get a good game where you can kill people without lag.

The darkness itself or like you said the darkness takes hold of a guardian and makes it their champion putting its full power into him or her. Then the traveler does the same for our character and it's just one epic final battle.

1 RespuestaIt's a familiar enemy, one we have faced before. It's name is C'hut K'ontent 😲 Ahem. Seriously, I hope there's no ultimate boss that we can fight. To me, the Darkness (the baddy and not the Simon Cowell pop sensation) is akin to the Darkness in Fifth Element. Something both sentient and conceptual. Physical and metaphysical. To me, It would be able to communicate, and it'd be everything at once; a voice in your head, an emotion, a physical feeling (like burning cold), a sensation of drowning, that kind of thing, as it expresses Itself. I think, looking at Bungie's track record, the Darkness would have a series of powerful agents, chosen for their physical, mental and spiritual (?) potency. If one fails, another will take its place until none stand and the Darkness will retreat, and return with more champions It has consumed. Nearly all of Bungie's games are cyclical in their storytelling, and I think that it may be the case with Destiny. We'll face more power champions and beat them all, drive back the Dark, end our cycle ready for it to start again. (probably millennia from the end of the series) That's my thoughts. ☮️

2 Respuestasprobably the travller itself. A list of powerhouse enemies still left to fight that we currently know of: Savathun Xivu Arath Nokris The House of Kings Ghaul A but ton of vex everywhere Another fallen house (name unknown but we saw them in the d2 reveal with...you guessed it...SIVA)
I'm still curious about those triangle ships we saw in the concept art back before d1 was out as well
3 RespuestasIt's either Bungie itself and in a Dark Souls manner, you can never beat it. Or the no-life Trials ELO monkeys that think they are worth more than an ameba because they can exploit bad game mechanics better than other people.

The final boss? Triplewreck, Saint Shadestep, and Hush with unlimited power ammo and exposure buff.
-
I think you should be the final boss. I wanna see the guardians ragdoll all around the place.

1 RespuestaThe Traveler. It's like that girl that screws everyone of your friends, is a wreck when she gets to you, and expects you to deal with all of the bullshit from her past relationships. Eventually you realize what a mistake it was hooking up with her to begin with, so you have to shoot her.

7 RespuestasIt is... An unformidable foe... One with destructive power... A power hungry tyrant... No one has escaped it's grasp, none have lived to tell the tale... This beast... This creature... Is... XYLAR, THE TIMELESSS!!!!

1 RespuestaThe Speaker. In Destiny 10 it will be revealed he is secretly an AI created by the Traveler to get a bunch of people together to be the travelers slaves. (Guardians) the Light is actually a coding put into you so when the time comes you are now mind controlled. He will then have you rebuild a better Traveler Body and take over the universe. It will end with this Galaxy exploding as the Traveler now moves on to the next. With you as his B**ch.

The evervese store will cave in when too much silver has been collected and Tess will be at the bottom of the pit, surrounded by coins filled with the broken dreams and anguish of guardians around the world. All that despair will infuse within her soul and attract the darkness to her and she will be transformed into a beastly monstrosity made of money. Her name will be Temptess the Devourer.
