What were you expecting a new main series game when the last one isn't even a year old yet?

I expected some good stuff for the Switch, considering they need more games for it. A lot more. Not some glorified remakes and ports of older games.

What exactly pokemon wise did you expect for the switch this early? Because if you expected a main series game (gen 8) already then you're insane.

They're glorified remakes yes. And I wanted something new for the Switch. Not a port of a game from the WiiU and certainly not more DS games

Switch may be handheld in terms of its console gimmick but outside of [i]maybe[/i] adding older handheld Pokémon games to some online store or section dedicated to handheld games, I don't see why I've read 5 separate comments in the past hour hoping for what is essentially a console Pokémon title. Seriously. When was the last time you played a Pokémon game that was built like the handheld games but made for console? Never. Not counting fan made games, they don't exist.

It's a lot like black 2 and white 2 they released one last game for an overall underwhelming generation on their outdated mobile devise. I think their really Trying to take their time on their next entry for the switch so they could exploit the strengths it has in terms of graphics and processing power over the 3ds. And hopefully they either save the first Pokémon switch game to be gen 4 remakes or gen 8 since that would help sell the switch a ton!
