Job 40:15-19New International Version (NIV)
15 “Look at Behemoth,
which I made along with you
and which feeds on grass like an ox.
16 What strength it has in its loins,
what power in the muscles of its belly!
17 Its tail sways like a cedar;
the sinews of its thighs are close-knit.
18 Its bones are tubes of bronze,
its limbs like rods of iron.
19 It ranks first among the works of God,
yet its Maker can approach it with his sword.
In the book of Job in the Old Testament it talks about two different creatures called the Behemoth and Leviathan. Written in a time before the word dinosaur was coined could these passages be describing what we call dinosaurs? It also talks about a sea creature that mirrors what we call a Megaledone.
I don't care what you believe I just think it's cool that thousands of years ago, the writer described two gigantic creatures. Modern science believes dinosaurs as we know them went extinct millions of years ago, but why would the writer of job needlessly lie about dinosaur like creatures?
Different cultures around the world who had no contact with other cultures all depict ancient drawings and passages about these giant creatures.
Food for thought.

28 RespuestasIt seems about right. Behemoths would be the land creatures and leviathans would be the sea creatures. I'm still skeptic though. Only way I'll get my answer is from God himself when I get to heaven.
